QUOTE(CnY Garage @ Jan 16 2017, 12:24 PM) if u only wanna keep it alive rather than active, every 50 days top up 5 I remember you mentioned it was on mid Jan, now changed to mid Feb?or convert to xox 28 months validity i guess even dealer got stock they won't sell @ umobile price because at least 900 reduced from previous price, they probably sell to supplier my stocks left 7 and 7+ only this is interesting, what i noticed voicemail from umobile numbers are free, i rarely call other telco numbers, not sure about that yup thats another way to get it too, last time got a seller using this way to gather 10 guys who interested in these numbers, then register a SSM , form a so called COMPANY, register 10 VIP numbers for free and 3 years contract they could assign the number on their will, the highest package RM 498 3 years U Platinum plan u could almost get any available number the dinner decided @ mid of FEB now not sure when announce new changes on plan |

I saw that umi 25 has 6GB data+1GB video onz. So for a person like me using postpaid plan RM28, what stops me from converting to umi??

Yes disappointed with umobile "upgrade". but I guest it is just a matter of suitability to different type of users, and app-onz is not suitable for me. for others it may be a very good news
considering porting out to celcom blue but they seem not offering 5GB+5GB for new users. |

QUOTE(xXmiuXx @ Feb 17 2017, 01:05 AM) Me too, and the coverage is too bad for me to use Umobile. But i still have some Power Prepaid sim on hand. Hardly use it since i port my main number to celcom xpax turbo Thanks for your recommendation. Will look into it.*U may consider Celcom Xpax Turbo. Reload RM50 to buy 10GB all day data + comes with 10GB free FB quota + basic internet. Personally think it is much better than postpaid RM45 for 5+5 without free FB quota |

as per my comparison, the only cons of UMI 30 compared to p28 is:
umi30 has 30 mins call to all network while p28 has 50 mins umi30 has no free sms while p28 has 200+100 other than that? |

strange? I have never used fb/instagram/twitter but my app-onz shows data (although not much)
make me think that is there a way to let umobile think I am browing from these sites all the time? If so then I have unlimited data... |

QUOTE(deltakaye @ Feb 27 2017, 03:53 AM) Is it possible to sign up for U-mobile postpaid plan (for example P70) and then terminate after one month? Will there be any penalties or extra charges? In theory yes. But bear in mind that you have to pay 1 month deposit upfront of signing up postpaid, and also first bill. So later when you cut off the line they will refund you the deposit.I have an upcoming project which requires me to be away from my home but still within Malaysia for the next 4-5 weeks. I also will be in Singapore for 5 days during this time. My current Celcom postpaid plan is great for me 90% of the time, but for this period, I need two things which the P70 is quite suitable to offer: 15GB amount of data at a relatively low cost, PLUS the Data backpack for me to use some of that data in my 5 days in Singapore. But after this period, I have no use at all for another postpaid plan. Can I do this all for RM70, and terminate the account after one month without any penalties/hidden charges? Also as I know make sure you cut off before 1 month before, if you go into second month and leave umobile, they will charge 1 month fee and not prorate. |
