Certainly not. Supplementary lines are 'attached', secondary lines no telco in Malaysia uses that term, and hence it's not clear what it means. Can refer to the fairly common practice of holding a backup sim card with a different number/telco in case the first one out of coverage.

More importantly, if you don't use the right terms it's easier to get/give wrong information.

That one out of scope di, phone problem rather that umobile problem. Find friend/dealer who can support.

Unlikely that it's software issue. Perhaps the bands your phone support.
