It's true. I was late for 1 day, then i saw interest charges in the next statement. Tried to beg CS thru live chat, got a big strict NO waiver, even though i'm first time late. Maybe next time can try calling CS and request for interest waiver.

They will not entertain, I requested before. Only RM 10 will be waived but not the interest charges.
Anyway, I cannot blame them because it was my fault.

Ya, agree, late means late. no excuses. just pay the interest. Prior to that, they already give 20 days interest free period when statement come out. So that's no reasons why we don't do our responsible.

mine was 2 days late.
If their monthly cash back came in on time before 18th, I would have not gone thru this hassle

I made another appeal to the another CS.... let's hope i don't need to pay it's never my fault. It's SCB's delay in cashback fault

Hi sifu, wanna ask, for SCB JOP, can I do like this,

-use SC JOP to topup RM2500 Bigpay
-use Bigpay to topup RM2500 Boost
-Cashout RM2500 from Boost via 2 cashouts (RM4 service charge)

not complaining but just to confirm. The interest will be start counting from the transaction date up until payment received date?

If i made a 4k trx on 1/3 paid the balance on 09/04
interest 18%

meaning the interest fees will be 4000 * (0.18 / 365 * 40) = 78.90?

Is my calc correct? TIA

I tried 1 day late before...called CS and they said couldn't waive late interest charges/penalty, but in the end they never charged me though. Hopefully it will be the same for you as well.

If top-up Boost with OTP: "BOOST APP 3D-EC KUALA LUMPUR MY", most likely under Online.
It top-up Boost without OTP: "BOOST APP SSL-EC KUALA LUMPUR MY", unlikely under Online.

Lets say if top up RM1500 Boost without OTP , its not under Online, and its not eligible for the SCB JOP cashback. Because its not considered online.
