QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 2 2018, 12:27 PM) If I were you, I will tell her to cancel your application and you will apply again with another person. See if her tone will change or not because it affects her commission. Mine one on another hand was totally opposite from your case, I applied for JOP and when she called, she asked if I will be interested with CB Gold (now LFC CB). I declined initially because I already have one as a supplementary from my sister, she convinced me to have my own card as I can manage everything myself. I agreed with her because my sister has to help me everything for supplementary issues. Then, after I accepted that she offered me WorldMiles too and which I accepted eventually. At the end, form only filled in for one card but got three cards eventually. Can you get cashback if using supplementary card from SC? I thought only PB can get cashback if using supplementary

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 2 2018, 10:23 PM) Yes, all supplementary cards can get cash back, same as principal but just whether it's a shared quota or not. Most of the banks apply combined cash back with principal (SCB is one of them) except for PBB and CIMB which one can have separate cash back. Understood. Thanks for your reply

QUOTE(celciuz @ Aug 22 2019, 09:17 AM) For existing JOP, if I want to apply for LFC I need to submit everything again? LFC first year need pay the AF liao? Or 2nd year onwards? If you already hold JOP, no need to submit documents again. Just chat with CS and ask for LFC card. Me and wife did like that. No problem adding new card since both cards will share the same credit limit.

QUOTE(MARVIN333 @ Nov 13 2019, 02:54 PM) Hi,. I was wondering if everyone ever do cash advance withdrawal from SC credit card? I have tried to do once but I did not find any option for credit/advance cash withdrawal only got saving and current and when i choose it was rejected. Can you pls tell me the steps? Dabbling with cash advance from credit card is like digging your own grave. As the other forumer mentioned, why not BP (BigPay)?

QUOTE(allen6279 @ Jan 21 2025, 06:38 PM) Good day everyone. I was charged late payment and interest for my previous statement payment. Due date is 2nd January. I made direct transfer from maybank on that date 11.30pm +/-. (Transaction date 2/1/25, posting date 3/1/25) Tried to call and request for waiver, request created but rejected. May i know why i was being charged late payment even i paid on that date. Is there any other way that i can do to waive those late charges? Thank you By right, you're not at fault. Payment is not past due date. Payment on due date is acceptable by all banks. Even their system recorded payment received on the due date, not past due date. It can be waived. If they reject the waiver, threaten to report to BNM. Request waiver via apps or online banking. Go to ..Help & Services....Other Banking Services...Other request You can make waiver request there. Threaten also to report to BNM of their peculiar practice of not accepting payment on due date of statement.

QUOTE(tifosi @ Jan 23 2025, 02:23 PM) SC is the worst bank, way worse than PBB. I decided not to beg/threaten to cancel every year to waive my AF. Enough already. So I cancelled my card once AF is charged, got a retainer call a week before due date. I told them no, not interested to keep anymore. My card was gone from online banking. 2 weeks past my due date, I got an automated call from SC that I have an outstanding (legit call). So I called back and whack them kaw, they informed the card was closed like few days after my due date hence interest was charged. Got them to waive luckily no 1 in my CCRIS. Planning to cancel also but just to confirm. When AF is charged (my AF should be charged on my next month's statement), if we cancel the card without even using the card after AF is charged, by right we don't need to pay the AF right? When you cancel the card when AF is charged, I assumed you've cleared all outstanding (minus the AF)?
