Recently managed to use my Wise Card on Apple Pay. Works so seamlessly from public transport usage to boutique shopping, so convenient.

Tomorrow would be around a month left before CIMB overshoots their Apple Pay release for 2H22.

Does uob and rhb card support Apple Pay?

Got many banks support is good but the implementation on some merchant side need to improve IMHO. Last time go Pasaraya want to pay using Apple Pay with watch the counter girl said cannot (got wave machine)...So she called supervisor for help. Supervisor came and told me its bullshit (said since when can pay using watch?)... I could accept if she told here no support Apple Pay but the answer cannot pay with watch ....

I never encountered this incident because SPay was implemented years ago so these merchants already got familiarized with it. If it happens, I will just politely tell them that it accepts so long their machine accepts contactless payments. I will just scan it with my AW.

Actually u dun need to mention Apple Pay specifically, just told them paywave. Coz not everyone know Apple Pay just works like paywave.

No need to argue. When they take out the terminal, just scan with your iPhone/Apple Watch and give them a smile after that.

Bruh, I literally said that they don’t even allow me to make the transaction. They forced me to use my physical card. Guy knew I wanted to use Apple Pay but said cannot.
