Real data and facts don't show it. Some banks went and spent money with huge launches for Samsung Pay and provide the ability for payment, etc..etc.. and the results were extremely bleak.

Having been in the industry for 7 years and working with the business heads, various MDs, CTOs, CIOs and all, its not about laziness. Studies were done, reviews were done and not just internally but with the team from Apple and Google. The numbers just don't work currently especially for Apple Pay (cost outlay to time to ROI). Focus is still on meeting financial obligations to shareholders. At the end of the day, the decision is strategic, whether to put the effort and money into this project vs another project which has a faster ROI and higher benefits.

Step 1: Take a screenshot of your MySejahtera vaccination page (the one with the 3 QR codes)
Step 2: Email that screenshot to a PC/Mac and display the screenshot on the camera
Step 3: Take your iPhone (must be updated to the latest iOS) and open the camera app and scan each QR code
Step 4: When scanning the QR code, you will get a prompt to add that to your Apple Health (repeat X times based on the number of vaccination jabs you got)

To check, go to your Health App and search under Immunisations.

You can't get it into Wallet yet until its certified (still trying to figure that out).

Got many banks support is good but the implementation on some merchant side need to improve IMHO. Last time go Pasaraya want to pay using Apple Pay with watch the counter girl said cannot (got wave machine)...So she called supervisor for help. Supervisor came and told me its bullshit (said since when can pay using watch?)... I could accept if she told here no support Apple Pay but the answer cannot pay with watch ....

Bruh, I literally said that they don’t even allow me to make the transaction. They forced me to use my physical card. Guy knew I wanted to use Apple Pay but said cannot.
