even though I've been waiting for apple pay to come like guys, it just simply doesn't feel like coming soon as usually apple website will show "apple pay coming soon" like most countries. We don't even have the "coming soon yet. This post has been edited by dannytwk: Mar 8 2022, 07:50 PM The1stHumanBeing and syhwzn liked this post

QUOTE(Mavik @ Mar 14 2022, 12:54 PM) Real data and facts don't show it. Some banks went and spent money with huge launches for Samsung Pay and provide the ability for payment, etc..etc.. and the results were extremely bleak. sad but very trueBy pushing it through, unless they get the volume, it might end in loss making for them. iOS users tend to be a small % of their customer base. Having been in the industry for 7 years and working with the business heads, various MDs, CTOs, CIOs and all, its not about laziness. Studies were done, reviews were done and not just internally but with the team from Apple and Google. The numbers just don't work currently especially for Apple Pay (cost outlay to time to ROI). Focus is still on meeting financial obligations to shareholders. At the end of the day, the decision is strategic, whether to put the effort and money into this project vs another project which has a faster ROI and higher benefits. At the end of the day, its very simple. If we can't even get V2 (125 pages of threads?) of this thread here in LYN, see how much "demand" there is for a technology like this. |

QUOTE(Mavik @ Mar 16 2022, 09:55 AM) Step 1: Take a screenshot of your MySejahtera vaccination page (the one with the 3 QR codes) we wont able to add it into wallet unless KKM side update it support EU standard I think.Step 2: Email that screenshot to a PC/Mac and display the screenshot on the camera Step 3: Take your iPhone (must be updated to the latest iOS) and open the camera app and scan each QR code Step 4: When scanning the QR code, you will get a prompt to add that to your Apple Health (repeat X times based on the number of vaccination jabs you got) To check, go to your Health App and search under Immunisations. You can't get it into Wallet yet until its certified (still trying to figure that out). syhwzn liked this post

QUOTE(Sam Leong @ Jul 31 2022, 04:41 PM) Good Sign! At least we know once Apple Pay annouce in Malaysia, SC will supported. And yes, you all won't be able to add the card to apple wallet yet as in IOS15.6 haven't added Apple Pay support. We should able to to add the card once after apple annoucement, maybe with IOS 15.7 it guess. |

QUOTE(excaliburcombo @ Dec 5 2023, 09:09 PM) Got many banks support is good but the implementation on some merchant side need to improve IMHO. Last time go Pasaraya want to pay using Apple Pay with watch the counter girl said cannot (got wave machine)...So she called supervisor for help. Supervisor came and told me its bullshit (said since when can pay using watch?)... I could accept if she told here no support Apple Pay but the answer cannot pay with watch Actually u dun need to mention Apple Pay specifically, just told them paywave. Coz not everyone know Apple Pay just works like paywave. |

I wonder y most apps even international one don’t support add royalty card to Apple wallet. Even like adidas enable it for Singapore and most countries but Malaysia still can’t add to Apple wallet.
*I know we can use pass2U but just simply not perfect yet. |
