Hi guys, can I add the same credit card to two Apple Wallets using two different Apple IDs? Plan to use the same card in Apple Pay to reload to the Japan IC cards stored in our Apple Wallets.

Note: These two Apple IDs are not from the same country.

Last time this forumer below managed to enrol their MAE card into 3 devices, so it should work for credit cards as well (assuming you are using Maybank). In regards to different country, as long as in the Wallet app you can add a card, you should be able to enrol the card.
My findings from back in January (not sure if it has been revised, need to check with your respective bank), there are limits to how many devices you can enrol your card into.
*
Thanks for sharing that. Yes, Maybank cards actually.

I've added local bank and Wise card (mine's from SG) into 2 different Apple ID devices before. So it's fine.
*
Cool. I will try to do the same too. biggrin.gif

I hope no issue if two similar transactions are recorded back-to-back.

Not only HLB, CIMB Sotong bank also still taking their own sweet time to launch Apple Pay

Sotong bank even committed to launch Apple Pay by H2 2023, but now still no news doh.gif

I'm looking forward to CIMB one because I use it almost exclusively now.

Hi Everyone. Just wondering if there is any way for us to activate Apple Pay payment in iPhone without double-pressing the physical power button?

I never use the power button on my iPhone (unless I am shutting down the phone or restarting) and would like to maintain it that way.
*
Use Apple Watch. biggrin.gif

Eh x jadi bro.. not a single option to add to Apple Pay when i checked in on the iOS app. even tried reinstalling the app.
I noticed the app store listing for MH doesn't list down Apple Wallet support  doh.gif
*
I have been adding MH flight tickets into Apple Wallet. You have to add when you check in, there is an option to add into Apple Wallet. blink.gif The thing with MH is, it won't remove the flight tickets which already expired, unlike other airlines.

I’m having this problem now. Previously I can delete MH Boarding Pass from Wallet, seems like the option is gone now. How do I delete this? Or will it be removed after a certain time?

-edit-

Ok, need to open Wallet App proper. Can’t delete from double clicking the side button. My mistake laugh.gif
*
Rightfully, like other airlines, they should be removed after expired but MH is not the case. Anyway, I like keeping those tickets for sentimental purpose. blush.gif So, not deleting them myself.

I want to share this here: I used Apple Pay (Apple Wallet) in Japan for a Suica card. It is so smooth, and I linked it to my Apple Watch instead, scanning in and out like a boss.

Also, since Thailand still doesn't have Apple Pay activated, I got my partner to change it to MY region before using Suica card in Japan. The Apple Pay is linked with my credit cards instead. There is no issue at all using this method.

Suica card in Apple Wallet can also view card balance, and top up the Suica card using any payment card inside Apple Wallet.
Very sweet Suica indeed.
*
Yes, it does. I shifted it from phone to Apple Watch, I find it more convenient for me to tap in/out without taking my phone out. tongue.gif
Another advantage using it on Watch is can reload with minimum 100 yen while on phone is 1000 yen if I'm not wrong.

Also, don't need to unlock, just bringing close is all it takes, and impressively, it even works when the iPhone is turned off!
*
Yes, super impressive and fast. Suica can be used almost everywhere, so just load your money there and pay your stuff with it. Fast and easy.

The suica terminal is on the right so if u’re wearing the watch on left wrist it will be awkward

So i still used suica on express mode with phone when I was in Tokyo
*
Not really. It’s not awkward for me. Everyone does the same and it’s more convenient than taking out the phone. That’s how I see it. Don’t even need to aim it correctly, just tap with the strap or with jacket on also ok.

Got many banks support is good but the implementation on some merchant side need to improve IMHO. Last time go Pasaraya want to pay using Apple Pay with watch the counter girl said cannot (got wave machine)...So she called supervisor for help. Supervisor came and told me its bullshit (said since when can pay using watch?)... I could accept if she told here no support Apple Pay but the answer cannot pay with watch doh.gif....
*
I never encountered this incident because SPay was implemented years ago so these merchants already got familiarized with it. If it happens, I will just politely tell them that it accepts so long their machine accepts contactless payments. biggrin.gif I will just scan it with my AW.

Guys I have a question, can a merchant reject payments with Mobile Wallets (Apple, Samsung and Google Pay)?
*
So long it accepts contactless payments then it will work, I assume this is in Malaysia.

Yeah I always mentioned paywave as I assume not everyone is tech savvy. But this restaurant server said they explicitly said they do not accept Apple Pay. Can a merchant do this?
*
No need to argue. When they take out the terminal, just scan with your iPhone/Apple Watch and give them a smile after that. smile.gif

Bruh, I literally said that they don’t even allow me to make the transaction. They forced me to use my physical card. Guy knew I wanted to use Apple Pay but said cannot.
*
Then just accept or leave it. No point arguing or reasoning with them. I never met this kind of merchants before. So no comments on how to react. I only met some didn’t know such thing exists and they were surprised when I paid with my watch. They said they learnt something new.

i don’t understand why need to use cimb credit card, if you want apple pay, just get hsbc, maybank, SCB card

nowadays it is damn easy to get credit card unless you are black listed.
*
I have CIMB TWE and it was the best card until 31.12.23 (benefits were reduced), I was using it almost exclusively on daily and honestly if CIMB had Apple Pay activated last year, it would be the best for me at that time.

That said, I have other cards/banks, so not an issue to use Apple Pay.

i have been using apple pay/Wallet a lot recently and omg it's amazingly convenient! Was in Japan and the Suica card is easily integrated. Wise card can be used via Apple Pay as well as my MBB. Issue is my CIMB travel card does not work with Apple Pay, am thinking to apply for another credit card, any recommendations with good perks?
*
CIMB isn’t supported yet on Apple Pay Malaysia.

HLB will be a major announcement on July 8th.
It may be to announce Apple pay
*
Every year's July 7th that period is HLB Connect Day (previously known as Digital Day), they will have banking promo.
But yeah, manifest Apple Pay is part of their plan for this year.
