I have never been there yet. Yes, there are free food and drink. You will need to go to Flight Club these days, you will be directed to go to FC when you are at PPL. At least this was reported by other forummers in previous thread.

You are traveling from JB to KLIA or the other way around? Don't think you could access the lounge at the arrival.

I don't know mixed feedback from previous thread. Some said closed, some said not yet but it seems PPL is no longer accessible for credit card holders, they will be directed to Flight Club.
I will wait for others to feedback here. My last trip was in April and PPL was still there that time. laugh.gif

Ppl klia is getting too crowded.... sometimes can't even find a seat....and I believe they are upgrading part of it as well...flight club is new and under used so they divert some people there....

I use ppl mainly for a shower and rest....so I will insist on using ppl rather than FC...

I am just aware that Standard Chartered World Miles grants unlimited entries to PPL in KLIA and KLIA2. Is there any condition for that and is this applicable to supplementary card? Any annual fee for this card?

It's set meals with drink and the portion is quite big. It's a restaurant by the way.
It has few types. I think I ordered the udon before and it's very good. No free flow drink.
Else, there's a PPL before check in at KLIA2 though, you can try that too. If they ask for boarding pass, you pandai2 ya. The reason is not difficult. laugh.gif

Skyview was closed last December, and they have rebranded as Dnata at another location. Good thing about Skyview was that there was an upper non-windowed section, which if lights were dimmed or switched off, was nice for sleeping. And they imposed no time limit. I had slept on cushions placed on the floor there overnight. Saved $75 from renting a 6hr room.

I visited this lounge 2-3 times a week back then when MBB VS offered unlimited entries. Tried their breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner, supper. The best meal i would rank will be their breakfast nasi lemak and dinner herbal chicken.

the problem is that there are ppl and green market located in public area at klia2, which is open to anyone, whether traveling or not....and people make use of it as free meals...

if it is restricted to just actual passengers (departing or arriving with a valid boarding pass), it will cut off a lot of usage...

I prefer banks to offer limited access. Some people tends to abuse the unlimited access benefits.

totally agree..with free unlimited, PPL tend to overcrowded..
and in malaysia, same name, multiple card can enter as well.. another factor make PPL overcrowded as well..

hope they can change this rules as well.

I agree with all these comments. Nowadays I make sure my family members are all carrying supp card that allows entry under their name. Also, I tend to rotate the usage of my cards so that I don't heavily max up a single only.

the problem is that there are ppl and green market located in public area at klia2, which is open to anyone, whether traveling or not....and people make use of it as free meals...

if it is restricted to just actual passengers (departing or arriving with a valid boarding pass), it will cut off a lot of usage...

but the food quite boring, still the same.

They would know..but no harm to ask if the card has a complimentary access. For places like wellness spa, the spa (massage, etc.) part is chargeable.

Yes for Wellness Spa is buffet style. So just eat and drink all you can. No charges, it will just print out a slip and you just sign on it.

No different procedure, just that some cards have limitation of the no. of entries, you can't really "spam". For AEON, you may need to fill in forms. For other cards just sign on the slip based on my experience with different banks. biggrin.gif

I don't recall seeing any service menu that separates the charges. When in doubt, ask the receptionist. Food, drinks foc. They will swipe and the amount on the receipt will be 0.00 or 0.01.

Cards like Aeon card need to fill up a form.

It is a spa which you will need to pay for massage and all. They serve food and drinks and you can take shower too. These are free.

No need to inform la.. sweat.gif doh.gif They know which card is entitled for free visit. You will see it on the slip. RM 0.00 or RM 0.01 for RHB if I'm not mistaken and it is not chargeable.

I noticed for foreigners if they bring overseas CC, they will check further. Malaysia's issued cards are pretty OK.

Plaza premium lounge is malaysian company?

I check Ambank credit card website it got list the airport that have free access. End of the month Im going to GUangzhou but baiyun airport is not in the list. However in the PPL website it list Baiyun airport have lounge. Does it mean the card cannot access all airport PPL but only selected airport? Or is it because AMbank website not update?

PPL is not a Malaysian company. Well, not all are entitled. I was also in Baiyun earlier, it's not entitled. AmBank even removed Beijing one as well. sad.gif
Always check your cards' eligibility, you are not entitled for all PPLs. Hence cards with Priority Pass come handy for this kind of cases. However, most of the banks have removed PP.

I think almost everybody at ppl will be on complimentary entry, either cc based or on business class with an airline affiliated to use ppl as their j lounge...i suspect very few people will actually want to pay for it....

for most cc, they will slot and print a slip, which you will sign, and keep a copy, like for any cc purchase...but the slip is not the same as the usual cc payment slip...

if any cc is not accepted, they will inform you...and ask if you want to pay to enter...

never been to welness spa....seldom fly aa...but it should work out the same...

beer is foc, but any other liquor is chargeable...

changi ppl also has private rooms which you need to pay extra to use...of course ppl gateway is itself a "transit hotel" with rooms for rent, although at the price they charge, might as well go get a tune hotel room...

Erm, so far I did bath once in KLIA2 Wellness Spa before my flight to Tokyo as I came straight from office. It's free, you will need to inform the staff that you would like to shower and they will prepare the necessary for you.
I seldom fly AA these days and usually morning flights from KLIA, so I already showered before going to airport. biggrin.gif

the founder is/was a malaysian...but the parent company is based in hk...

they are very aggressively opening a lot of pay lounges internationally, but what is entitled by any bank cc is based on the bank's list, not the ppl network list....eg rhb cards only entitled to msia based ppl....maybank includes many international airports, but not the new bne lounge, which is in the ambank list...

That is meant for paying customers....have a shower only...not sure if that is often....but in the past i have paid for a shower at changi, before i have free lounge access...this paid/cc/pp lounge concept is relatively new...in the past you only get airlines lounges....

your cc will allow you entry and full use of the place, including showers, food, drinks including beer....

when this perk started, it was pp....and pp has a much wider network of affiliated lounges, including some airlines ones (eg korean air in korea and japan)...so if you travel widely, pp will cover more airports...have used it in mad, ath, ist, muc, dxb, doh, icn, nrt....places ppl has no presence....

ppl initially only had limited locations, in msia and hk....but has aggressively expanded since....but is still limited compared to pp....

only a few banks now still issued pp...maybank stopped just 6 months ago...not sure which banks still give pp...

PP is better due to its flexibility but not many cards are offering anymore.
First post has listed cards with PP.

PP is better due to its flexibility but not many cards are offering anymore.

PP = Priority Pass
PPL = Plaza Premium Lounge

One is pass, one is lounge. You will need PP to access some overseas lounges and these days only higher end cards give free PP.

Ppl is a company that runs a collection of airport lounges under various names, including ppl, green market, wellness spa, flight club etc...it has arrangement with banks, airlines and other bodies to admit specified customers for free or at discounted rates...it currently only has 30+ lounges in the group...

In the case of cc holders, you respective bank will have an arrangement with ppl to admit you to specified ppl outlets, and only these...not others not listed by your bank...

there is no ppl card, but you use your cc to enter....

On the other hand, pp is an international membership organisation which does not own or run any lounge at all....it however has arrangements with more than 900 airport lounges all over the world, to enable members to enter for free...ppl being one them...

You can join pp anytime, for a fee....the fee depends on how many entries you want...and as a pp member, you can enter ANY lounge in the list...so it has much wider coverage than ppl....

If you have pp from the bank, the bank is paying for your membership...and you will be issued a separate pp card for entry....you do NOT need to show your cc to enter...

Of course like we mentioned not many cards have PP these days, most of the banks have cut off this feature. Even if it has, it may come with conditions or probably higher income requirements.

Yes of course pp is better.... otherwise I wouldn't have been able to enter lounges in europe, middle East and east Asia....but most banks have decided to exit the pp programme, and those still on have very restricted number of entries...

Yes, I don't take beer too. Maybe I'm not alcohol lover. laugh.gif Only occasionally I will ask for wine if I travel in non-low cost carriers. tongue.gif
I take soft drinks most of the time in PPL. laugh.gif Even the KLIA PPL is not too bad with its alcohol beverage selection, I never take even once. laugh.gif

Your RHB might be declined by PPL on the second location. They insisted that it is only once per day. I didn't argue despite I know they are wrong as I have other cards with me. Later on, I just complained to the bank.

Quick questions,

CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite get unlimited access to Green Market @ KLIA2?
It shows Lounge Use -3hr (Quantity 1) at Green Market.
(not sure if it is unlimited or used 1/4 of the complimentary access)

"Complimentary access of up to 4x per annum to all Plaza Premium Lounges in Malaysia, and unlimited access to The Green Market, Singapore Changi International Airport and selected airport lounges across the region."

As for the Maybank 2 Premier Visa Infinite, will the Green Market @ KLIA2 be using up the 1 out of 5 complimentary visit?

Thank you.

Not sure about Changi but since it mentions so clearly for unlimited access to GM in Changi then should be yes.

As for Maybank 2 VI, yes for GM KLIA2, it will utilize 1 out of the 5 free visits.

I have just applied for Citibank Premier Miles Visa Signature, so I can just walk in to KLIA Premier Lounge with valid boarding pass?
Can I bring my gf along? (If can't I would probably apply a supplementary card for her?)

Hi all,

I am using the Ambank World Mastercard. I went to the KLIA Premium lounge and when I presented my card, the receptionist asked me to registerd in flight club as the lounge is having a "upgrade maintenance". However, I still see people inside the lounge enjoying the drinks and food.

Without thinking too much, I registered myself in the FLIGHT CLUB and had my lunch there. After the lunch, i tried again to go in the Premium Lounge but the receptionist still doesnt allowed me to go in. Some waiter in flight club to me the plaza premium lounge is only for business class (or certain international card).

Does anyone experience something like this where they dont allow you to enter the Plaza Premium Lounge?

Hi, is it possible I use difference AEON gold for this purpose?
Eg. Use AEON big gold at Green Market, and use New AEON gold at Wellness Spa?

Buffet type. PPL claimed the food are the same but I wasn't allowed into PPL so couldn't judge. The spread was equally uninspiring, so keep your expectation low. Only 1 library type table if you wanna charge your gadgets, other tables have no power points.

Does the "x in Msia" mean both KLIA and KLIA2?
If not, suggest to make clear if Msia airport means KLIA only, KLIA2 only or both?

if its KLIA only its stated as so, if Msia means major lounges thus both klia and klia2 are valid.

It means any PPL in Malaysia not only limited to KLIA and KLIA2. Not only these two airports in Malaysia that have PPL ma... There are Penang Airport, Kuching Airport and etc.

Flight Club is also under PPL. Well, they are making it lounge for some airlines' business class and overseas issued credit cards as pointed earlier by fellow forummer.
Not like they totally remove our entitlement, just replace it with another lounge. You can try though.

Since it's free, I don't want to make so much of fuss. I guess if you want shower or anything, they may still allow you to go to PPL.

I managed to get in to PPL using my cc today along with a guest. Apparently they'll allow you in if it's not too crowded or not expecting an influx of airline customers.

Yes, better than nothing. Previously only KLIA and KLIA2's PPL, now extended to nationwide.

Yes, that's right. Your family members can go in if you apply them supplementary cards and if the PPL benefit is also extended to supplementary cards. Most of them don't.
Else, if you sign up few cards which allow PPL access, then they can enter together with you but it depends if the staff allows or not. So far for Malaysia PPL is still OK for this option.

You are really asking a lot eh? tongue.gif 2x is good enough for overseas PPL. Lower income people (me included) cannot ask for a lot like premier cards lo... laugh.gif
AEON cards don't give free PPL access to supplementary card holders. So you can forget about this. AmBank gives and it is a separate entitlement from you.

In conclusion, you have AEON BiG Gold, New AEON Gold and AmBank Plat. These should be more than enough for you.
It is sad that AmBank removed Beijing PPL from the list... I haven't even tried out yet. doh.gif So, I actually use more in Malaysia PPL than overseas PPL. Probably next time will try out SG PPL.

*
Just to confirm regarding bring family member into PPL.. i heard that to allow enter PPL the staff will check your IC to tally with the card holder name before allow you to enter.
If this is the case then we can't bring in family mamber even though we hv multiple cc with PPL access.
correct me if i am wrong..

Like I mentioned before: "it depends if the staff allows or not". However, others' experience so far for Malaysia PPL is fine. I have tried for my friend using my second card and it is OK. smile.gif

Sane experience here, i have even used 3rd card to let both my parents in.
Don't think the staffs will ask you to draw the family tree and provide birth certificate to prove relationship

No. You must have 3 different cards. One card is only for one entry, one person.

Yes and depends on the staff to allow or not as the other two cards do not belong to your guest. Malaysia is still OK so far.

You can actually take the train to travel between terminals but there is only one option at Terminal One as the Green Market @Terminal Two is closed for upgrading works.

Without pp, there is only one lounge available at Changi, ppl at t1....green market is still closed....it is easy to take the sky trains between terminals, so although I depart from t3, I use ppl at t1, and just need to move to t3 maybe 10min earlier....

Ppl t1 is right next to the aerotrain to t3....so within 10 min you will be at the north end of t3 transit area....when you need to start moving depends on your gate lah...I normally start walking to the gate 45min before departure, so start 55 min before from ppl loh....

Hi,

I have the AEON BiG Visa Gold and the Public Bank Visa Signature.

Just want to find out, if I want to access both the Green Market at KLIA2, and the Plaza Premium Lounge at Gateway@KLIA2, does it count as 2X access?

Can I just sign it once to access both facilities?

Thank you.

Had similar experience before . Blur sotong me used the wrong card ( confused which card to use at which airport) . They let me in but Kena charged few month later as it wasn't complimentary for that particular airport lounge

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 15 2016, 07:07 PM)

Flight Club is also under PPL. Well, they are making it lounge for some airlines' business class and overseas issued credit cards as pointed earlier by fellow forummer. Not like they totally remove our entitlement, just replace it with another lounge. You can try though.
I guess if you want shower or anything, they may still allow you to go to PPL.
*
Does this mean...makan kat FC, then go shower at PPL?
Or can we insist to use PPL instead? Have a 10 hours transit coming up and a shower will be nice.

You may risk being charged for the guest entry as the bank see 2 entries at same time ( 1 person cannot have 2 bodies?)
PPL can simply let you n guest in..it's business for them. Whether the bank wants to pay for usage of the lounge is another story.

They deny my application and was requested to pledge with FD

It is a restaurant, anybody can walk-in.
Well, most of the cards eligible for free PPL access can get one set free meal (each card) at GM.
Which card(s) do you intend to use?

They are not willing to waive the first year annual fee of RM1,060. They will only give you 200,000 points after you have spent RM12,000 in the first 60 days. However 200,000 points is not enough to cover RM1,060
*
honestly people qualified for this card dont really care rm1060 or rm10600 annual fee.

besides, 200k points can redeem back rm1000 cash rebate under this prestige card.

surprisingly they lower down the minimum income requirement to RM150k biggrin.gif if you are a citibank customer
RM1060 AF is a rip off, usually banks will ask you to spend certain amount using the card to waive it..that's why I find this card not very attractive in my opinion ohmy.gif

First thing first, I don't think there is any PPL at DMK. https://www.plaza-network.com/locations
Not sure what lounges they have there, it seems Thailand has nothing listed. They may have airlines lounges though.

bearbear, 11. Public Bank Visa Signature / Platinum - 3x in Msia. I guess you missed out the word Islamic for Platinum. Normal Plat has no PPL benefits.

they don't mind +1 at TGM, the set they provide is quite big and you can order add on too.

Basically 1 card = 1 set redemption, not limit on pax as it's not buffet

They started referring credit card holders to flight club since July, but sometimes still allow you in if it's not full. According to the staff, this will continue until the "renovation" in PPL is over.

Yup, the spread is much better than PPL. I was surprised when the CS asked me if I would like to try Flight Club last Thursday morning when I went to PPL. Flight Club looks more like a restaurant with classier deco and setup than the usual PPL to me. They also have a lot of different liquor and wines there but Im not sure if it is available for us. I didnt request as it was 7am in the morning. sweat.gif Oh and the view is on the other side which I think is better than the old PPL.

It's easy for ppl/fc klia to manage guests as it's airside so already automatically restricted to passengers..don't know how ppl gateway and klia2 GM manages guests, as it's landside....I don't remember gateway asking for boarding pass, so people working in klia with Ambank cards can go there everyday for lunch free....lol

Huh...coupon? Where to get these coupons? Used CIMB VI to get into PPL Changi, no coupons required. Is this a KLIA PPL requirement?

Hardly fly out of KL so hardly use cc to gain entry to lounges there.
Remember using KLIA PPL twice and it was macam pasar or at best kantin.
The buffet line were almost cleared of food . Tables were not cleaned with lots of leftover food being left on tables.
The atmosphere was nothing like a place to get some rest before/in between flights which was the general attribute of lounges in other cities.
Perhaps those days it was too easy to get in with almost every CC giving access . Coupled with PPL letting CC card holders to use multiple cards to bring in guests.

Are conditions any better these days?

If you are terminating at klia, and your bags are not collected, the baggage handlers will take them to one side so the carousel can be used for the next flight..but why would you want to do that?....

If on transit, then no issues, if connecting to a domestic flight, make sure you get to the domestic gate on time...

Someone from LYN mentioned before, you could hop on a train and get to KLIA2 and have you lunch/dinner in Green Market which is located at the land side. Please correct if i'm wrong as i haven't done that before.

Back then when MBB VI has unlimited access, i do have my quick meal at PPL but that is landing at KLIA2.

everytime i landed, all i can think of is to go home biggrin.gif

Maybe one of this time i will try going in to FC as arrival passenger and see if they allow, as i do not usually check in my luggage.

Plaza Premium Lounge (International Departure, klia2)
Level 2, International Departure, klia2, Kuala Lumpur International Airport

I presume you are referring to the groundside gateway ppl...there is no issue on the airside, as you cannot get into the transit area without a boarding pass...

That is why I asked before, how they control the entry if they site the lounge in public areas....those I went to elsewhere will ask for boarding passes....

Right..
They shud hv a proper control on admission to prevent unnecessary entry to PPL by the public...
instead of controlling the entry..bank went and reduce or limit the number of entry for their card
tis way making those that really flying hv to seek other alternative to enter PPL if their quota used up..

Right..
They shud hv a proper control on admission to prevent unnecessary entry to PPL by the public...
instead of controlling the entry..bank went and reduce or limit the number of entry for their card
tis way making those that really flying hv to seek other alternative to enter PPL if their quota used up..
*
What constitute as unnecessary entry? From business point of view if client able to pay why should I reject?

Those that enter PPL on the land side using CC are paid by the bank..If boarding pass is needed or need to pay with own pocket money then most likely they wont enter. That would save up some bucks for the bank..

The problem is, the lounge, and the bank are separate entities...the bank wants to give its customers benefits when they travel....but of course will not agree to misuse, ie using lounge access when not travelling...

On the other hand, every customer the lounge admit, it's income....either from direct payment, or through affinity partners, eg airlines, pp, cc etc...so lounges don't really care how many times people use their facilities, the more the better....

Lounges within airside locations have no problem with abuse....only bone fide passengers will have access....but those landside will potentially be subject to abuse...and if the lounges don't control entry, the bank will find some people with 20, 50 entries...it cost the bank money, so they will clamp down and impose restrictions...

Same principle as when people abuse motor insurance claims, insurance companies increase premium, and everybody surfers....

The other thing is, some airports separate arriving from departure areas....and the lounges are in the departure area...so you will not be able to use the lounges in Taoyuan, Brisbane, Sydney, Dubai, Atatürk, etc....

Re checked in luggage issue if enter PPL during arrival.

If not worry people angkat your luggage and lari, no worries lah. The handlers will bring them down from carousel and place on floor.
If not there, don't panic first, go to Lost N found counter, they are probably moved there.

Malaysian airports are lax in this....they never check your tags....I suppose it is not a prevalent problem....

In Indonesia, they actually will check your luggage tags with your studs on your boarding pass....

I don't think I will do this at klia....but I have done this at Changi....not to eat, but did some shopping on arrival....by the time I got to the carousel, the bags were all gone....just pick them up at the lost luggage centre...

Not sure how this will work....in the era of terrorism....

An intelligent thief, logically won't steal prior to immigration screening at the exit.... he/she may land in trouble if so unlucky that the luggage contains illegal stuff.

Anyway... there are all sorts of people around, greed make a person stupid though.

Penang Airport, if you arrive from international flight, there is no way you can go to PPL. If you arrive from domestic flight, then you can go to PPL.

Nope, travellers will need to track themselves. Probably you can check with Maybank CS.
PPL staff will just swipe like normal and if it exceeds the limit, then bank will charge you.

Keep track yourself....you can call SC to check...but they don't always get it right....

When maybank downgraded their perks earlier this year, I had used entry twice, but using a supplementary card...which should not count into the principal quota...they tell me I have used twice.... but I had to explain it was with the supp card....only when they checked the details then they agreed I still have the full 5 entry quota this year....

Called CS. The lady said they themselves need to submit the enquiry to PPL to check - which will take few working days.

Other wise, when I travel, can approach PPL to check, they'll have every travellers entry data

the PPL in malaysia really depend on the staff..
if oversea, the PPL will ask for boarding, so they can scan and include your flight information in their system.
it will show on their lcd tv and sometimes do make announcement if flight delay..

ppl changi will ask for pass, and scan it....

pp entry all over the world always ask for boarding pass and passport...

so i think it varies depending on the airports and respective ppl policy....

I have a question: If I arrived at KLIA2 around midnight but my flight (international) is only at 8am, am I allowed to enter into the departure area (after immigration)? How do I check in my luggage? If I'm not mistaken, check in counter usually only open 3hrs before flight, does this mean I have to wait until at least 5am only I can enter?

Yes, once you go in, you cannot come out anymore. So, you have to check in your luggage only can go in. By the way, that PPL only opens from 4.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.

However, there is another PPL before immigration which opens 24H. You can go to that one.
Level 2M, Gateway@klia2, Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Credit card only gives 3H per stay but usually they won't chase people away. Moreover, there is not much can be done. I got bored after an hour. laugh.gif

there is no early check in for aa....counters only open 3 hrs before flight....so you will have to wait...

the good news is that klia2 has a landside ppl at gateway, so you can go there and wait till check in time....then after check in, you can go into the airside and use ppl or wellness spa again...

some question, had not been using the PPL service before. I had a ambank visa platinum which entitle 2 visit per year. This visit is meant for card holder only? Or can be use for the accompanying guest?

wife had a aeon gold which i check entitle 6x, wonder the same question too. As i had a upcoming flight at KLIA, tout try out the service. For 3 adult and 2 kids.

One card is only for one person at one time. For your case, since PPLs at Malaysia are not strict and you can sign in guest, you will still need 5 cards and sign in all of you into PPL.
*Kids I assume above 2-3 years old.

so you mean i can get my wife to use her Aeon Gold to sign in for 5? Cos i saw there's 6 per year for Aeon Gold.

I'm tinking of getting ambank to upgrade the card to signature. Which allow for 5... this would be good...

Not sure about the walk-in rate but surely not worth for it to pay.
What you probably can do is, you supp to your wife for AmBank, you go and apply AEON Gold and she goes (or you) to apply another AEON BiG. Enough for five cards. Or you add another AmBank VS and add her as supplementary. Can save your energy of applying additional AEON cards.

No, you sign on the slip, it always shows no amount or RM 0.01 (no charges eventually on your statement if it is free access).
If you are charged, you won't see the amount until it is shown on your statement.

I thought it paid by banks for our visits, so banks will evaluate if you already exceed or whether eligible or not, then consolidate again in your statement.

It will not show on the slip. I don't know if the staff is hardworking enough to check for you on the excess number of entries.

Yes, if no charge, nothing will be shown.

No public access lounge in klia domestic....a very obvious gap in ppl's operations...

Unless you have plenty of time and willing to take the train to klia2...

Rm2....should be a train every 10 min during peak and 15min off peak....can take either express or transit....but unlike in klia, they depart from different areas... schedule is fixed and punctual, so you can check on line or with the counter and decide on a train to take....

so I was been directed to FC on Monday night using credit card.

food spread improved and you may get your drinks from the bar, Tiger included.

basically they serve fried rice, fried kuey teow, spaghetti, one chicken dish and one vege. Some simple bakery snack and a salad bar with mushroom soup. There is also a DIY bar for noodle soup.

Update on TPE ppl....

T1 lounge is quite nice....and while there is no toilet or shower within the lounge, they have commandeered the area next to it, and use the toilets and showers there as theirs..... locked and you need to take the key and amenities basket from the front desk, leaving your boarding pass as 'hostage'...

That area is now still open to public, but from the design, I think it's a reserve area for future expansion...

Got beer and white and red wines....

I actually used the showers, its actually quite good, better than the rundown showers in KUL's Golden Lounge.

Food wise when i was there, was not plenty but was pretty good.

the shower looks new, and obviously recently renovated....follows the standard design of showers in other ppls and wellness spas...

the food menu provides both the usual buffet of 3-4 dishes, as well as special ala carte menu...

the showers in the domestic golden lounge at klia is dismal and run down...they need to seriously renovate some of their facilities....

SINGAPORE, Sept 17: A jobless Malaysian man was handed a two-week jail term after he pleaded guilty to three out of 31 charges of forging mobile boarding passes to enter various lounges at Changi Airport.

The Straits Times reported today that Raejali Buntut who overslept at a Changi Airport lounge and missed his AirAsia flight back to Kuala Lumpur had decided to stay in the departure transit area on Aug 21.

For almost three weeks – 18 days until last Wednesday – he remained in transit by using 31 forged mobile boarding passes to enter various lounges in the airport’s terminals, said the report.

The report said a district court heard Friday that Raejali, 33, had checked in at close to midnight and went to the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 (T1), using his boarding pass and his Priority Pass issued by Citibank.

The court was not told why Raejali, a former business development manager with Royale Consultant Management in Singapore, wanted to stay at the airport.

The report said since his boarding pass was no longer valid, he decided to forge boarding passes by downloading images of mobile boarding passes issued by two airlines – Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines – from the Internet, and used an image editing software on his laptop to alter them.

Raejali inserted his name, a false flight number and a false destination on the fake mobile boarding passes, before sending them to his phone.

The report said he had gone into the Plaza Premium Lounge, the Sats Premier Lounge and the Dnata Lounge at T1 before going to the Ambassador Transit Lounge at T3.

Last Tuesday, the report said, a staff member at the Dnata Lounge called police when she suspected Raejali’s misdeeds as he attempted to enter the same lounge for the fourth time.

It was reported that Raejali’s sentence was backdated to the date of his remand last Friday and he could have been jailed for four years and fined per charge. — Bernama

Nolar...more like a freeloader. I also dont understand how one could stay at the airport for 2 weeks. No matter how comfy the lounge is.

It appears to only earn points with visits to the ppl itself.... doesn't include the others in their stable...so if you are forced to flight club, you get no points...?

Redeem a free entry with 2000 points, or 20 entries....

Same management.

But only a subset of credit cards have free meals at Green Market.
off the top of my head: AEON/Big gold card, PBB VS, Ambank.

Different list.

What I have mentioned has been tested current and valid.
If you wish to know the full list, please write in to plaza premium lounge.

for some reasons, although all these lounges/spa/food outlets are under the same establishment, not all CC will allow access to all....

while all cc which have access to ppl, will include in their list ALL the ppl in malaysia, not all will provide access to gm or overseas ppl....

maybank vi has access to gm, and most overseas ppl except bne....

rhb only to local ppl, not gm or overseas....(but rhb spore does!!)...

the best card is ambank wm/vi/vs...which covers ALL ppl group outlets locally and overseas....(except syd)...

Reach airport 10pm and got to wait 8 hours for boarding 6:30am flight.

Gonna spend 1st half at landside PPL and spend 2nd half after check in luggage.

gateway: public area, small, but an extension area they can open if crowd gets too big, no view....

ppl L pier: small, no shower, airside, no view...

wellness spa: small, half the space used as massage areas, rather hot and stuffy aircon at midday, airside....rather basic food...not a single massage customer when i was there, so wasted spaces....

The space next door is the former malindo lounge....hopefully if the business flourish they will take over that space as ppl and leave ws as....well....spa
