Huh...coupon? Where to get these coupons? Used CIMB VI to get into PPL Changi, no coupons required. Is this a KLIA PPL requirement?

Hardly fly out of KL so hardly use cc to gain entry to lounges there.
Remember using KLIA PPL twice and it was macam pasar or at best kantin.
The buffet line were almost cleared of food . Tables were not cleaned with lots of leftover food being left on tables.
The atmosphere was nothing like a place to get some rest before/in between flights which was the general attribute of lounges in other cities.
Perhaps those days it was too easy to get in with almost every CC giving access . Coupled with PPL letting CC card holders to use multiple cards to bring in guests.

Are conditions any better these days?

Only oneworld lounge in klia is Cx....Never been inside....

Mh golden lounge is huge.... But food is so so....Ppl crowded nowadays with basic food....I suppose it's individual taste....

I have been to 3rd party lounges in dxb, sin, nrt, kix and they are pretty crummy as well....In fact the worst lounge ever is in nrt....No hot food at all....Just drinks (no alcohol) and biscuits....

There's 4 OW lounges in DOH , Al-Safwa (F pax only), Al Mourjan(J pax only), and Qatar Airways First/Business lounge for status pax travelling on coach. The latter which pales in comparison.

Thanks for the information, seems like those people I saw in KLIA paid for their bills then. I always sit near to alcohol counter and saw the guy making drinks. I don't drink alcohol before I travel so my apologies on the misinformation.

Another note, I still haven't gone to Flight Club, I always go straight to PPL... If I just want to enjoy food and drinks, FC could be better right?

I'm not bro. Plus, there is no line for me all the time. Even if it had, only 2-3 people in front of me. Never an issue for me.
I don't drink coffee, I go there to have light refreshment after all since I travel via KLIA, for sure I will have in flight meal.

I also can masuk leh Maybe I’m also lucky cause usually not long queue during my time of travel.

don't tell me use after one year need to cancel. 
need to spend RM50k to waive the annual fee is totally no no to me.
i rather use my expenses on the other card that give rebate.
