What is the latest arrangement for PPL access at KLIA? Still push to fly club instead of PPL?

Anyone aware of Air Companion by Dragon Pass, which is replacing Priority Pass for Uob Cardholders to access to airport lounge using mobile apps?
Any other credit cards changing to Air Companion by Dragon Pass? |

QUOTE(KeSToN @ Jul 19 2017, 03:14 PM) since early this year i was told that is not possible You mean ambank allowed Wmc & Vi for ppl access within the same day though both cards from the same bank ?cause usually i will go makan at green market then only enter lounge so have to use different cards but if u have ambank WMC, presumably u can also get ambank vi so technically shouldnt be an issue edit : i was told it will be charged if i use the same card. they didn't reject the entry into the lounge. |

QUOTE(sugen @ Jul 25 2017, 12:55 PM) Yes. According to AMBANK CS, it has no issue to do a 4 swipes in a day at KLIA2 to access to all 3 PPLs and GM. Which explained the per PPL basis ( KLIA2 has 3 PPL & GM, each PPL and GM can access only once per day) & lastly per airport. If i move from KLIA2 to KLIA ON same day. I can then access to both of the PPL that is located at KLIA since KLIA & KLIA2 are two different airport. Do you have it in writing, just in case being charged later ?With the above example, One has did a 6 swipes in total per day with AMBANK World card. 4 at KLIA2 and 2 at KLIA |

QUOTE(limeuu @ Oct 22 2017, 10:16 PM) The problem is, for some reason, many pb customers were never issued the signature card, only the "normal" ones... didn't make any difference in the past as there was actually none....but now they have differentiated the signature cards, many pb customers are upset.... I understand Ambank is on the process of upgrading their cards.... |

QUOTE(terence_say @ Nov 29 2017, 07:00 PM) For HLB VI, you get 4 times local PPL access for free and need to spend 100k to renew HLB VI not competitive compared with other VI/WMC cards. No point having it if can get othersBelow is the local PPL that can be access by HLB VI Plaza Premium Lounge (KLIA) Location Mezzanine Floor (Level 2), Satellite Terminal, KL International Airport Plaza Premium Lounge (gateway klia2) Location Level 2M, Gateway klia2, Kuala Lumpur International Airport Plaza Premium Lounge (International Departure, klia2) Location Level 2, International Departure, klia2, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (next to Gate L8) LANGKAWI No. AD2, Departure Hall (Airside) Langkawi International Airport (Located at the left hand side after immigration before security check point) JOHOR 1/F Passenger Terminal Building Senai International Airport (near Gate 2-3) PENANG Domestic Departure Level 2, Domestic Departure, Main Terminal Penang International Airport (opposite to Security Screening Checkpoint) International Departure Mezzanine Level, International Departure Penang International Airport (Mezzanine Floor) KOTA KINABALU (Domestic Departure) Level 2, Domestic Departure, Terminal 1 Kota Kinabalu International Airport (near Gate B10) (International Departure) Level 3, International Departure, Terminal 1 Kota Kinabalu International Airport (near Gate B3) KUCHING Level 2, Domestic Departure Kuching International Airport (opposite to Gate B6) |

QUOTE(terence_say @ Nov 30 2017, 08:34 PM) I have different view, I found out HLB VI have a place to stand in the market as is a free for life card, no cost for keeping it. Secondly, free 4x PPL for first year is free lunch, no harm utilised it and lastly HLB often have 0% BT that only need to pay 5% monthly and can transfer to CASA directly. 4xPPL so limited, and only for first year, after that is useless. At least it useful for me although I do hold on to other bank WMC/VI for daily use. 0% BT 3 months or max 6 months not comparable to other banks eg MBB for 12 months. This BT thingy is not special feature of HLB VI anyway. Not a useful card |

QUOTE(terence_say @ Nov 30 2017, 11:12 PM) well, everyone has it opinion, i just shared my thought. Agreed, HLB VI is no way comparable to other VI/WMC card for PPL, in fact pretty uselessMaybank 0% BT can only transfer to another credit card that need to try luck to call cs to transfer out the overpayment back to bank account while HLB is a straightforward one, can transfer to CASA straight away. So really depends on which type of BT user you belong to, if BT to cover credit card outstanding than yes, Maybank is equally good but for those that do not have any cc outstanding like me, just BT to take advantage of the 0%, HLB is a more straightforward one. Btw, here is PPL thread, i think i should stop here. My previous post is just to shared what local PPL can enter by HLB VI as I realized this is not clearly shown on their website. |
