Will try to apply Affin Bank WMC for the priority pass

When I went there last two weeks, I accessed PPL, I asked about Flight Club, the guy said I can choose to go to PPL or Flight Club.

There are some cc has priority pass, what is the difference for it compare to other cc?

since early this year i was told that is not possible
cause usually i will go makan at green market then only enter lounge
so have to use different cards

but if u have ambank WMC, presumably u can also get ambank vi
so technically shouldnt be an issue

edit : i was told it will be charged if i use the same card. they didn't reject the entry into the lounge.

Yes. According to AMBANK CS, it has no issue to do a 4 swipes in a day at KLIA2 to access to all 3 PPLs and GM. Which explained the per PPL basis ( KLIA2 has 3 PPL & GM, each PPL and GM can access only once per day) & lastly per airport. If i move from KLIA2 to KLIA ON same day. I can then access to both of the PPL that is located at KLIA since KLIA & KLIA2 are two different airport.

With the above example, One has did a 6 swipes in total per day with AMBANK World card. 4 at KLIA2 and 2 at KLIA

The problem is, for some reason, many pb customers were never issued the signature card, only the "normal" ones... didn't make any difference in the past as there was actually none....but now they have differentiated the signature cards, many pb customers are upset....

I understand Ambank is on the process of upgrading their cards....

That’s true. Both the cardholder and supplementary card holders are preferred customers on their own.

so only supp who is a preferred member only got 4x separate access.... sigh.....

Stingy CIMB if u read this, if supp is a preferred member, she no need be supp la!

PS: Found out Ambank Priority members credit cards can have 2 free visits per day, if u have both VI and WMC

For HLB VI, you get 4 times local PPL access for free and need to spend 100k to renew

I have different view, I found out HLB VI have a place to stand in the market as is a free for life card, no cost for keeping it. Secondly, free 4x PPL for first year is free lunch, no harm utilised it and lastly HLB often have 0% BT that only need to pay 5% monthly and can transfer to CASA directly.

At least it useful for me although I do hold on to other bank WMC/VI for daily use.

well, everyone has it opinion, i just shared my thought.

Maybank 0% BT can only transfer to another credit card that need to try luck to call cs to transfer out the overpayment back to bank account while HLB is a straightforward one, can transfer to CASA straight away.

So really depends on which type of BT user you belong to, if BT to cover credit card outstanding than yes, Maybank is equally good but for those that do not have any cc outstanding like me, just BT to take advantage of the 0%, HLB is a more straightforward one.

Btw, here is PPL thread, i think i should stop here.

My previous post is just to shared what local PPL can enter by HLB VI as I realized this is not clearly shown on their website.

My friend already use Stand chart cc to enter aerotel lounge few days ago.

PB VS don’t allow for my case the other day...

SCB Worldmiles ok. Maybank VI ok.
