QUOTE(knwong @ Dec 6 2016, 01:16 PM) Employer: Reject! Reject! Reject! During my interview I really did mention currency. I did a background check on the interviewer and confirmed that he's also from Malaysia and also Sarawakian like me. So I did really give that as part of my answer other than the career progression thing.Might as well go to other countries that has bigger currency if aiming for money alone |

QUOTE(babychai @ Dec 5 2016, 11:26 PM) Guys, I gave my reasons why I am the best person for the Sgp job. You hv to figure out the reasons for yourself, supported by facts from your experience and resume, or testimonials. Focus on the job and not the location. For me I wasn't particularly targeting Sgp. I applied all relevant jobs regardless in Sgp or Mal or where.Would like to know during interview, employer will ask you "Why you want to work in Singapore?" right? Mind to share your answer? QUOTE(deadravel @ Dec 6 2016, 04:53 PM) Honestly one will not go far with that mindset.Think positive and find your selling point. Everyone has one. It's just that you need to put effort in finding out what it is. This post has been edited by V-Zero: Dec 6 2016, 05:10 PM |

when i interviewed, a few employers asked "why sg?"
i just said better life quality (lower living cost - ignore conversion & better purchasing power) the job that i ended up at, my employer never asked me that, in fact he was selling sg to me |

Might as well go to other countries that has bigger currency if aiming for money alone Interviewee: Just admit it lah, you need us Malaysians because your local Singkie staff are lazy and demand higher $$$. We Malaysians can do the same work but 40% discount. If you don't employ us, then in place you have to bring in Filipina or PRC people who will cut your ques and squat all day long. We Malaysian cainis are best option because we are the closest to your gene pool, culture and we work harder than your local singkie kiasu behavior. No surprises lor if they do what they need to maximise their financial retur.s.I think those pest or losers are really jealous with those who are earning their keep in Singapore but apply for BR1M. |
