Anyway, from what you hv heard, those rejected are lower positions or higher ones?
*
From what i have read from other forums, a lot of issues, the assessment only MOM will know. Both higher or lower position has the chance to get rejected.

Since it is less then 5 working days, i shall be a lil patient before i started another job hunt.

I think he meant that his EP is still not approved, and it has already been 5 working days.

If the person already got IPA, can MOM still reject it? And if already started working with the co, don't tell me you now hv to go back to Msia or quit the co?

This is a good question and I dont know. To me once getting an IPA you need to start the medical check up, thumbprint thingy in order to get the EP.

I am just worried my EP application would be rejected. bangwall.gif

QUOTE(crazy25kid @ Dec 5 2016, 04:13 PM)
if so, then why are u on sabbatical for only 1 year?
u should just resign and stay at home looking after your kid or your husband should
since bringing up the kid is that important, there should be only 1 breadwinner
and from what i read, your husband and you each easily earn more than a lot of couples combined.
like u said, your mum did not work because she valued bringing up the kids as more important
or did the value your mum planted into you got skewed off somewhere that it only applies to others but not u?

parents do a lot of things...some maybe too much
but most of the time, in their own way, they do it because they think this is the best for their kids.
sending kids to child care because it makes economical sense does not equate to not spending time with the kids when they are growing up.
you might influence as much as you can on how you want the kid tp grow up to become by instilling those good values
however, what they grow up to become does not solely depend on how you raise them.
being there every single moment does not mean the kid will become a replica of you.

She get to bring her kids to workplace. Can you? Haha

You're technically earning RM 3.11 x your salary in SGD.

Anyway... Don't think I will and should apply. Those working in MY (at least at my level) is not doing so well. Why still slice their chances of getting the BR1M?

His logic is simple
She is saying stay at home full time = prioritizing your family = best for your family regardless of the pay you sacrifice
Yet she is bringing her child to work, instead of practicing what she preaches

Unless she believes bringing her child to work is exactly the same as taking care of your child full time, which is obviously not the case

hmm.gif

IMO, it's alright and better than leaving your kids to someone else's hands full time.
At least when they're still baby.

That's already better than average working family in SG. My manager for example, both him and his wife are working. Daughter is only 1.5 years old now full time nursery+preschool. Only bring home at night.

Not entirely good but #nochoice.

If I've got a choice, I'll probably do the same biggrin.gif For the fun factor of it tongue.gif As in bringing my own kid to work biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Sure, that's a good opinion and i can agree with that too
But you have to understand the way Fiona is making her comments, she is putting down anyone who decides to work instead of staying home with their kids

There are all kinds of situations in this world, making a hard and fast judgement like that is unfair which is what some here disagree on

Ya, anyways, thats in parenting thread la. Not work in sg which tbh, we are all on this island to make as much money as we can.

I too believe in one parent to stay at home. But then, I wont discount daycare as a good option too.
