Hello.

I just went for thumbprint at MOM this evening.

Just want to check with taikos here.

If without the physical EP card can we open bank account and subscribe with mobile line?
*
Welcome to SG!

Bank account I think it depends on which bank. I opened mine @ DBS with just the IPA letter.
Mobile wise, M1 requires the physical EP.

Yes...because i get the idea of him saying that SGD1.6k savings per month is not good enough...
SGD5 per meal x 3 a day x 30 days for a month...thats SGD450 for meals...hp another 50 bucks...
public transport 100-150 a month...thats SGD650....still got another 350....misc expenses 100-150 for 1 person per month is more than enough. So i'm saying that he/she could save up even more...to maybe even SGD1.8k++ per month

Sorry but can I ask what is range of basic pay for a Malaysian to work as developer/programmer role in Singapore? (with 1 year experience)
*
I'd say generally around 3.3-4 depending on how transferable your skill set are and your presentation/negotiation skills.

*
If relevant skillset and industry I would say $7-8k+.

Deswai build your own retirement nest and don't depend on your kids in your golden years.

Honestly one will not go far with that mindset.
Think positive and find your selling point.

Everyone has one.
It's just that you need to put effort in finding out what it is.

Anyone keen to stay near Mountbatten MRT (CC7 Circle Line)?

Wanna find a new place but not enough kaki.
HDB in mind: Pine Close.

Hi Guys,

quick question. how much is the average salary range for IT industry/software developer/system analyst with 4-5 years experiences?

thanks for sharing.

Depends on how desperate you are.
Generally ask for 1:1 $-to-$.

PS: Changi damn crowded this morning.

I will be having an interview offered by a IT consultant firm in Singapore.
Let's say my current salary in M'sia is RM9k (with 8 years of working experience), should I put my expected salary as SGD9k? Or must put lesser than that?
Please advise as I have not worked there before.
*
Check SG market rate and adjust accordingly.
Not necessarily less than your MYR equivalent pay.

Glassdoor etc.
