The estimated time is very conservative. Wont take more than 1 hr.

Go to settings, about, system update, manual update, network update.

If new available, it will begin.

If none, it will say its up to date.

for tablet or phone, it worked fine but when it came to pc, only youtube video could be google cast but now i can cast the entire tab e.g. facebook n etc

Thanks, at first it said something like packet not found. Then i go setting, apps and got the system update from there.
took like 45 min for me to download and installed

installation issue seems to be addressed now. all installed successfully

I assume it is a bug fix update. Previously with the latest version of Iflix I can't view the picture selection, now all working fine.

after updating the tv seem like nothing new appearing.... maybe it is just a bug fix just like you said

Just bought 58" UE630x for RM4999 w/2 years warranty at Melaka, can't wait to receive it ( should be coming next Tuesday ), will post feedback here once done, mostly using for streaming movies from my NAS

Successfully streamed from my NAS to 58" Sharp UE630x, the TV upscaling is damn good, even 720p files came out clear and sharp. The netflix 4k UHD looked even better

Does the Sharp UE630X do HDCP2.2 by default?
Need to know as some soundbars that I've shortlisted do not support HDCP2.2 protocol.

UE630X use silicon image sil9777 for the TV port which support hdcp 2.2 but not HDR.

Correct me if I'm wrong, this means possibly can't use soundbars to passthru content

i mean it is better to disable this option right?

what are you guys' experience when using soundbars, home theater system etc when it blocks the passthru and an "hdcp error" appears?

if u connect the sound bar to TV via optical, there is no concern unless u have souce such as 4k Blu-ray player.

if my internet speed is 1mbps is it worth to buy sharp smart tv if not which led tv should i buy? prefer (clear pq )

1Mbps is not enough to smoothly stream most full HD content and definitely not 4K. You can always pre-download content, it'll just take you much longer.. Do upgrade speeds if you can..

There are a few models already mentioned in this thread.. Notice the title too as your budget should be around that to continue within this thread.. Lastly, what's your budget and go out to view TV models with your own eyes.. Come back when you have one or 2 preferred models in mind.. Easier to comment after you've done all above..
