31/10: Submitted my application at TMpoint

4/11: They keyed in the application.

5/11: Fed up with no updates (e-mail), I used the Unifi locator to check my application status. Lo and behold, it's there! (and pending).

9/11: Checked on Locator again, installation date shows up.

14/11: Tentative installation date. Cancelled due to bad weather.

16/11: Installation day. Arrived at 1030, finished in 2 hours. Cable length 45m.

just received tm call on last friday
she offer me my vip 10 rm169 to unifi 30mb rm179
and tm free call still continue and free 10 hours free call to mobile

last week i go tm point ask for free call ,she said no , but tm call me offer can get free call tm and 10hours mobile call

normally marketing and tmpoint knowledge won't sync...same case like RM20-30 rebate previously...they can provide the free call option if u're insist...

currently at VIP20 paying 229
waiting the offer of unifi50 with free call at same price. but no one calling me yet

suspect newer model is future-proof for 100mbps

future proof for super duper extra upload speed ...LOL

The old, first-gen Alcatel BTUs were actually the most reliable, oddly. I got the letter too, but I don't know if I'm willing to change. Reliability > uncertainty.

Unless they're offering like 100mbps symmetrical download/upload + new BTU (just because lol) or something... that'd be a different story.

yes, the old alcatel btu can serve vip20 both 20 down 20 up seamlessly, without low pings. don't understand why they want to replace it. the current one i have for unifi 50 seems made by huawei if I'm not wrong

I'm using Huawei HG BTU, it's okay... No reliability issue with the HG850a

I'm using latest one, white color LED, Alcatel I think.

spend your time watching full HD/ 4K movies or dramas via streaming..

yes. using wifi. signal max 20mbps at my room. usually get arround 12-20mbps. ping is good. buy somehow keep disconnect. not only disconect my dota but my internet too. after 30sec ok back already.

Replace the router.

Just received the same letter, but my new account just 2weeks old. Why not just give me the equipment during installation...

hi..to anyone here who already upgraded their unifi..i just want to know how long u need to wait for the speed to increase after receiving upgrade completion email?

oh btw...got the unifi improvement letter as well...

Try restarting, should be upgraded the already if you get the email
