I've received my first bill with 30mbps + Aneka + free 600 mins call. It is really true, no BS from TM

Previous package rm179
- VIP 10 rm199
- Discount -rm20
- free call to TM fixed line
- Hypptv basic package

New package rm179
- Unifi Advance rm169
- Discount -rm20
- Hypptv Aneka pack rm30
- free 600 mins call to any fix or mobile numbers (already saved rm25 calling mobile numbers instead of using handphone)

anyone know how to check for port availability for unifi? wanted to subscribe to unifi, Maxis or Unifi fiber better? my location is pandan perdana, perdana villa PV3, Jalan Perdana 2/1, 55300 KL

currently i rented a room, and my house already have maxis fiber, but due to the constant upload data, my game experience has been horrible with the ping fluctuation between 14ms ping to 1000ms ping.

I've been thinking about setting up QoS to improve my condition, but Maxis Fiber router provided does not have QoS function(i know it has it via Telnet configuration), but account and router belongs to landlord. so i think i should avoid screwing up his router.

You need a better router if you want QoS. You can replace the Maxis router easily if you don't use the VOIP.

Max package 50Mbps in AS?

Went TMpoint AS to ask for unifi, they said my area is not under coverage yet. Just yesterday TM technician came to deploy the unifi distribution box (i think it is) to the electric pole in front of my house. doh.gif

Hope will get Unifi soon. 1Mbps is killing me vmad.gif

Hello LYNers,

I wish to terminate my UniFi but the CS told me I will need to bring in the modem (BTU) to return to them in order to proceed with the termination.

I would like to know is it possible for me to terminate it with another unit of BTU bought elsewhere as I have moved out from the house and the house is rented plus no one is staying there anymore including the owner.

Thanks in advance !

Its not lost but just kept inside the house and the owner is not around for 2 months at least. Not willing to pay for Extra RM300 anymore.

TM refuses to halt or terminate the account without the BTU.

Well you had no choice but to terminate only after you returned the btu. Unless you don't mind getting blacklisted icon_idea.gif

btu is belongs to TM, lifetime warranty

https://www.tm.com.my/Home/Broadband/unifi/...ipment-BTU.aspx

you must return... ask TM whether can suspend the line for two months since nobody at home, wait for owner back and proceed with btu and termination

cant help much... try contacting owner see anything can do, otherwise just pay 300

because if delay two months you have to pay two more months bills which could be more than 300

Guys, a silly question here.

I still have the boxes for the dect phone, wireless router and the btu. Say if I want to terminate my account someday, do I need to return all the equipments including the boxes as well?

Just did a housekeeping. Thinking to get rid the boxes.

Only BTU for landed house or VDSL2+ Modem need to be returned. They won't even ask for adapter.
