mine i ask the contractor dont install fibre termination box, the one you attached is FTB, i only have fibre Wall Socket

the reason is because there are two kind of fibre cable, from TM fibre termination point (pole) to your house external wall, is using better fibre cable can expose to sun, then from FTB to FWS is fibre cable that use for internal

the contract did as i requested for me
FTP --> external black fibre cable until internal of my house (FWS) --> BTU
the reason the contract ok to do so is because the black fibre cable only go into my house about 1meter, so dont have fibre termination box outside my house

if you want them to use the black cable to reach very far to the FWS, then unlikely they will do so

p/s: mine dont drill any hole, my double stoery landed, got a small balcony behind my house and the FWS and BTU just near the ceiling where i setup something to let those equipment sit there, and the contractor was so happy because he finish installed in 30 minutes biggrin.gif

high rise Unifi using VDSL... cable suppose to be like this which is old copper wire use by phone and streamyx

cant help much... try contacting owner see anything can do, otherwise just pay 300

because if delay two months you have to pay two more months bills which could be more than 300

is the Unifi Advance cheapest RM169 we can get exclude GST? from telemarketer?
