Just checking Unifi coverage in Kedah, somehow my area in Alor Setar is now under coverage. Does this mean I can already sub it? Tried ordering online but greeted with old package instead of 30/50Mbps.

yeah, tried the new one, but it wont continue. sooo, no unifi or website problem?

Does it need new wiring for fibre? Or use old copper wire instead?

will tm charge for that? how much if it does? i dont want contractor/technician tibai kawkaw.

btw, how do we know which tm point/station our house is connected to? I remember last time from a tm guy, point with code F = Unifi-ready, V = upto 4Mbps, R = less than 2Mbps.

I didn't see any F points around my area. Is it underground cabling?

Went TMpoint AS to ask for unifi, they said my area is not under coverage yet. Just yesterday TM technician came to deploy the unifi distribution box (i think it is) to the electric pole in front of my house.

Hope will get Unifi soon. 1Mbps is killing me

TM is expanding Unifi in Alor Setar. I kept seeing these guys working late night. I believe now along Jalan Langgar until Hospital is already available starting yesterday, already registered to my house. Go get em guys.

You can try yourself Unifi Coverage, for confirmation got to call TM. Some places might be in the list but line is not yet available to sub.

guys i received email for service order confirmation with date and time for installation of Unifi. Will the appointed contractor call me 1st prior coming to my home or they'll just popup on the specified time and date?

Coz it's on working day, need to take a day off. Don't wanna waste my cuti la just in case they didnt come on that date.

Really. I've been stuck with 1Mbps Streamyx since 2006. I believe im the 1st Unifi user in my taman.

1mbps jumped to 30mbps is huge. I'm still excited, now i dunno what to download anymore.

btw, i can see that a lot of channels available in my hypptv with astro sports HD. i signed up for basic only. this is only temp promotion to new users or it's available in basic package?

had problems connecting to anything using default DNS, switched to Google DNS on day 1.

Guys, to use home plug, need to plug to wall socket, or can use on extension also?

Aztech HL113EP is 200Mbps. Will it be sufficient for 30Mbps line? I saw another homeplug with 1200Mbps, but twice the price. Any benefit in term of speed / latency?
