complaint2.... that the way....

For ver 2 it's a bit tricky compared to ver 1 to setup. Especially in setting the vlan. I've used ver 1 and now using ver 2. I've not tried ddwrt/gargoyle. But have read about it.

Installing the firmwares are similar. Successful or not depends on setting the vlan correctly.

Recently the unifi very slow at night it keep disconnect although i change the router channel , i am currently using TP-Link TP-WR841HP .... any ideal to fix this issue or any one have this problem ?

Sorry I cannot commend on dd-wrt as I've never use it. What I can say is you need to set the vlan tagging correctly. For revision 2 WR1043ND the vlan swith port arrangement different from revision 1.

You can go to http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd and read under section "Specific configuration". This can make you understand better in setting your vlan tagging.

Also tried Tp-link stock firmware from Tp-link Malaysia website. Copy paste the password so it couldn't be that.

Both methods (DD-WRT & Stock firmware) wont connect successfully at all.
One day i might try Openwrt on this router. I do prefer DD-WRT to Openwrt due to the neater interface.


Is there any advantage of running solely on "Tp-link WR1043ND" vs "Tp-link WR1043ND + RG4332" setup?

about a month ago, dad accepted streamyx upgrade to 4mbps just add RM5 to current bill. However, im thinking of upgrading to unifi package. Do i need to cancel my existing package (as they said if cancel, need to pay RM300) or can just upgrade?

Planning on getting the 30Mb package, however, i noticed that the upload speed is capped at 5Mb? Is the old packages no longer available the VIP packages? Or any other plan with good upload speed? preferably 10Mb or more?

Archer c2. Believe me that dlink model is actually better than the latest model of router.

erm since i dont have any experience with other kind or unifi router i will stick with this one for a while and i will decide to give a try with archer c2 or c7. waiting reply from seller regarding the price. thanks zher

Just received my first bill,
i know the current promotion is RM199 with RM20 discount the final price should be RM179
but mine is RM169 with RM 20 discount = RM 149

same like my old Unifi VIP 10

any one can clarify?
or anyone got the same bill amount like me?

nope, no Hypp TV charges...
my final bill is RM 310.60 = 2 month Unifi (1month prorate & 1 month full) + GST + duty stamp


or maybe because this is first bill and Hypp TV free for 1 month.

Last time got rumors said the power adapter exploded by itself.

that why they change new adapter for selected BTU model.

Yesterday installed Maxis fiber, TM and Maxis ppl come together, and my BTU original is small black color, they changed my BTU adapter Grey color BIG BIG one.

I have been complaint since the SKMM report.

The person who handle my case also notice there is unusual charges on my account.

Now waiting the officer to call back

because now for almost 1 month my subscription I just watch the HyppTV Comedy Central 3-4 times only...(still free all channel until 28/11/15)
if they maintain charge me RM 149 for Unifi Advance 30 but without HyppTV I will accept it..

I doubt yours without HyppTV. Just that you only share portion of your bill, it is difficult for us to see.
