Hi guys,

Stock router D Link 615 can use for 30 mbps or not?

Just upgraded yesterday, connection through port reach 30 mbps. Connection over wifi same speed as 10 mbps only.

Anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks.

Did you flash ddwrt/openwrt on that model?
Or just use the stock firmware that comes with it

I flashed with openwrt (version Chaos Calmer 15.05).

I take it does perform better with openwrt?
Mind sharing your configuration with unifi?

Since when you got it? I only tried mine on Monday because I came back on that day and it's already 10Mbps upload speed. biggrin.gif
I'm also one of the early adopters and made complaint after they launched it officially on 15.10. Then got it after SKMM interference, I had to walk in to the nearest TM Point. Managed to reduce to RM 179 before GST now, with Aneka package.

Now I don't think you will need to complain, can straight walk in to the nearest TM Point. Thanks to us who made a lot of noises to SKMM. tongue.gif
I got it from last week, check on Saturday. I'm also make a lot of noises before. Keep going to TM point few times because of the problem arise .Is it because of that they tune up our upload speed? tongue.gif .I'm worried if I do claim for new price that more cheaper I will lost my 10Mbps upload speed cry.gif

I'm using dd-wrt on the same model, revision 2.

What's your setup like?
RG4332 as modem and TPLINK WR1043ND as wifi router?

I tried to get TPLINK WR1043ND to connect to WAN but it'll never connect sweat.gif

hahaha...dunno bro. Actually before I'm getting 10Mbps upload, also got 2 digit ping. maybe because of the upload speed?. Have you try with speedtest.net?

I'm heard from my TM friend, TM right now keep pushing their customer to adopted minimum 30Mbps Unifi and renew contract before TPPA implement. because after that, for lower speed will be another providers...ermmm...

The result from the photo was taken from speedtest.net.
Maybe it has something to do with my area as I'm from East Malaysia.
Small sample size but my friend on a different unifi package also have similar ping as me.

That's.. an interesting rumour
