I think you're absolutely correct on the term "limited by ECU". I actually made a mistake forgetting this when I was quoting

So, if the manufacturer says limited at 215km/h but it goes beyond 215km/h, could it because of the limit not triggered by wheel speed sensor but other sensors like transmission load sensor, engine load sensor, or engine load relatively to vehicle speed?
Was the dynamometer run performed on the 6th gear?
