QUOTE(syafiq87 @ Nov 3 2015, 04:47 PM) Update about my car : My water pump also changed before due to leaking of coolant. 1) went to sc aftr the car coolant above min level.....aftr chcking they found problem with water pump...SC need to order from HQ......SC said its normal for turbo car like pug suck a lot of coolant....also they topup the coolant 2) Is it true that Malaysia pug took out the coolant alert from the car becoz it too sensitive....i means if the coolant touch the min level it will beep us although it still sufficeint for the car....that what been told by my SC.... My coolant level always able/ manage to last till next service, no top up needed before the service interval. If you need to top up before the next service, mean somewhere's wrong. That time my coolant also dropped below min level, no warning sign/ alert appear. |

QUOTE(joeaggas @ Dec 9 2015, 02:26 PM) Bro jfc. Sorry unrelated to your question post . I would want to find out about your brake pads. 1) No need change disc, just the pad itself1) do you have to change the disc if use trw? 2) can share the place to buy the parts? 3) how is it so far at current usage mileage? Thanks man. 2) Can get from Eugyn, the VP of PCM, PM me if u wan his contact 3) Performance still original better, but TRW is acceptable. Dust level better than original. |

QUOTE(mtbk3 @ Dec 10 2015, 12:50 PM) Honestly, i have no idea why it is like that I rmb some fellow gone above 215kmh with his stock before. And yes the car is on 6th gear. Have to be at that gear to go Vmax. Which mean that 215kmh indicated on brochure may not accurate |

QUOTE(mna_1402 @ Dec 25 2015, 11:00 AM) Hi guys Hi,Sharing on after warranty maintenance on my 408T. 1. Aircon compressor faulty Symptom before compressor faulty is aircon sometimes not cold at all and requires multiple ON/OFF to get it working. Happen for about 2 months and then compressor totally kaput. SC lead tech in sg petani told new cost would be around 5k (confirmed by one of our forumer here) and suggest a shop that can do this. So i went there and replacement done within 2-3hours. Very skillful guy and know what he's doing. He agreed to give 1yr warranty if replace compressor together with condenser. Total cost RM2100 for compressor+condenser+aircon gas+labor. Parts used all Denso. Contact Ah Hui 01642788101, Its just a small accessories shop. Company Ride In Style at Taman Seri Wang Sg Petani kedah. 2. Gear knob suddendly broken. Google and found out this guy facebook selling peugeot items. The knob price rm64 almost no different compared to original. I also purchase rim nut cap as i lost one cap. Bank in the money and received the items the next day. Knob just need to push down to install. Contact Farid 0192626135. Company Redzynec. https://m.facebook.com/redzynec.peugeot/ Since ur car is 3.5years old. Why you dont claim your compressor under extended warranty? |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Dec 30 2015, 10:03 AM) I don't think aircons is covered under extended warranty. Right now I am at a non SC Peugeot workshop doing regular service and change of brake pads. Not going to bother with this extended warranty, coverage is vague and unclear! It is confirmed that aircon is covered under extended warranty. Eugyn had claimed that under extended warranty before. And for all the members' info, I claimed my ABS/ ESP sensor under extended warranty as well. |

QUOTE(J1@l_ l_l l\l @ Dec 30 2015, 12:23 PM) How did it go? I mean the procedure on claiming faulty parts under extended warranty? Did they take their own sweet time? The process same as usual, bring ur car down to SC tell them u wanna claim under extended warranty. They inspect, check ur service record and submit ur claim to HQ then to insurance company. Take note they need ur car log card also, so rmb to bring along (photocopy) will do. It took less than 2 week to get mine replaced, so I suppose it was a great experience. Do rmb to forward a email to CLIC to file ur claim as a record, they will assist to speed up/ follow up on ur case as well. |

QUOTE(baymin @ Jan 4 2016, 07:48 PM) Hi Guys, The touch screen "claimed" to be original is actually just an aftermarket device just like others, it is not officially from Peugeot.Happy New Year. I am about to place my booking for 408 THP, would like to seek advice from fellow 408 owners here if I should opt to upgrade to the touch screen panel+reverse camera for additional RM2,500? Or i could find better after-market options out there with that price? The SA told me that changing the audio system will not affect the warranty, but i would like to seek opinion from existing owners here on this matter. Thank you in advance, hope to join the club soon!! You can simply source from the market at your own sweet time. Changing the audio system does and/ or doesn't affect warranty is still up to the Naza decision, unless the SA can provide black and white to support on his statement that Peugeot/ Naza won't void the warranty. |

QUOTE(SKYjack @ Jan 5 2016, 08:23 AM) Did they tell you what the problem is. On this model, it is usually a faulty compressor internal bearing. They will order the part, which takes roughly 2weeks. Once the part has arrived it's roughly a 4hr job. No need to leave your car at the workshop for 3 -4 days. Yes. The ordering of part takes 1-2 weeks.Yes it is possible. The steering is a hydro-electric system. The steering turns are electrically processed and hydraulically executed at the wheels. The replacement can be done within half day. You still can drive your car around while waiting for the part, once the part arrive den only send in for replacement. |

QUOTE(EP6CDTM @ Jan 5 2016, 09:17 AM) oh i almost forget WTH for the windscreen price, used to be Rm2000 for the part.for those who planned to renew insurance this year. etiqa quoted RM66k for a 2013 turbo and RM60k for a 2012 turbo. alternatively aig can offer agreed value at 89k for my 2013 unit. premium is slightly higher but you get the full amount for total lost claims. wind screen replacement prices went up as well. i just called nasim body and paint repairs centre and they asked me to insure RM3000 for windscreen and labour and another RM1300 for tinting. OUCH!! As I only insured Rm3k in total for winscreen |
