Tks for your feedback bro. I too never had the need to rev during neutral, a bit confused why anyone would want to.

Redline cut off is as you know to prevent  cooking the Prince! Anyway, love my Lion too much to stress her that much!

Ok. I have tried it. Cant go pass 4000rpm. To be exact, it is around 3800-3900rpm......

wouldn't revving at 4k RPM in N screw up the gearbox when you push it into D?

Yes it will. Hence i didnt put it to D straight. I let the rev come back to idle then only engage D.

Was just doing it to verify the point made by a fellow forum member.....

Just had my gear knob changed last Saturday at Glenmarie, under warranty. No question ask, just bring the broken one to the counter, they give u a replacement unit.
They claimed that those earlier version had product/material fault which caused the whole thing to just break easily.

Hi guys, im sending my car for 60,000km major service next week, thinking of which service centre is recommended?

All this while been sending my car to Chan Sow Lin for servicing, thinking of trying another centre might get better experience.

Guess got to change my brake pad too (current mileage 54,000km), will my warranty void if i change it outside instead of Peugeot Service Centre?

Need advise from all Sifu, thanks!! smile.gif

Hi Guys

I gave my car for service last Saturday and still in Glenmarie because of the issue I informed you guys before. I called them today to ask for status. It seems the main technician said the continuous pull back is due to engine ECU and waiting for approval to be replaced.

Also, the items are recalled - Temp Sensor and Water pump. Getting worried the minute they touch this parts other issues will crop up.

Just keeping you guys informed in case you have similar problem

Read Tan's initial posting carefully before making assumptions! It's his choice to tow!

is not i want to tow the car , coz when i started the engine , come out warning sign that engine fault repair needed , and the car engine jerking can't drive.

The fuel meter is extremely accurate, when it red and blink is only have 3-4 liter ... Not good at for the fuel pump.... So i top up as soon reach 1/3 , about 10 liter....

Typical Japanese car , when fuel meter blink is 10 liter...i own 3 ex Japanese car all same... my advise when reach 1/3 , go top up asap if possible.

Thanks bro for checking, I wont put it in D also, the Rev is just to try out.... I think the turbo blow off valve , letting the extra pressure out when not in gear....

better la, our fuel pump is running on high pressure 200 bar...if let said 3-4 liter fuel.... it will heat up fast, Fuel needed to lubricate and cooling of the pump....
Pump heat up, kong early lor burnout.... that why at 1/3 is safest choice ....like japanese car

No issue with the fuel pump?

What issue with the coolant temperature sensor and the water pump?
