QUOTE(hafizhans @ Oct 19 2015, 11:46 AM) mine the orange/white router one, recommended new installation also? Yes, you should get new installation as many users complain due to DIR 615 not able to handle 30Mb/s properly (I'm commenting regarding other users as I have not yet tested it myself)

Sharing with others who are on the same road as me who want to upgrade from streamyx to Unifi... Very frustrating calling the 100. Tried many times, staff busy etc etc. Call the 1300 no from a friend here. Managed to talk to one staff. Said that he or TM Point cannot offer me the free call with Unifi Advance 30. Only TM marketing staff can. Pity. But he will try to get Marketing staff to call me! Hope to hear from them very soon. About to give up on this Unifi. People want to "buy" something and yet this is how they treat people. What if later there is a problem and the service then will be even worse! God, please help me. Ha.

Need help guys.
Last year, August, I just moved into a rented room. My ex housemate mentioned the unifi contract is about to expire and asked whether I would like to take of the ownership. Since I needed Internet for my work, I said yes.
Fast forwarded to today, am I still bound to the 2-year contract since I took over?
I wish to terminate my unifi. The only thing I see in T&C ownership transfer - "min 1 year contract" and not much info on the "Transfer Ownership Form".

You can refer to https://www.tm.com.my/OnlineHelp/TMPoint/Pages/Home.aspxTry to find the nearest to you that is open on sat and sun or only sat depending on your schedule QUOTE(Miracles @ Oct 19 2015, 11:59 AM) Need help guys. The transfer of ownership doesn't renew the contract so it'll carry the old contract so most likely your contract should be already over

ok so this is the confirm info;
upgrade from VIP to UniFi 30 or UniFi 50 will get the discounts regardless u go to TMPoint or resellers
u don't get penalty fee if upgraded within contract
if contract already finish,u may upgrade or do a new install to get new equipment.still same price.
basic rules
old vip + no hypptv package - > new unifi + new discount + hypptv package
old vip + hypptv package + old discount -> new unifi - old discount + new discount + maintain old hypptv package or change new hypptv package
old vip + hypptv package + no discount -> new unifi + new discount + maintain old hypptv package or change new hypptv package

Pro: Faster download/upload (10mbps) speed, NO FORCE to take Hyyptv package, Symmetric tech, FREE fixed line to fixed line call. Cons: Slower upload speed (5mbps), FORCE to take Hyytv package, Asymmetric tech, NO MORE FREE fixed line to fixed line call. Hi guys. I am one the victims in this "early bird discount" fiasco.
Do I need to lodge a report to unifi first or should i just go straight to the SKMM complaint?
Btw, how can I make a complaint through the OCC portal? Can anyone teach me? Thanks.
