QUOTE(kernel123 @ Sep 20 2015, 11:57 AM) anyone here cant reach full speed of 30Mbps when downloading using IDM /torrent? currently using 30Mbps unifi, upgraded from VIP10 ..speed test got full 30Mbps but when downloading can get max 17Mbps Here also using 30Mbps. It's been like that since last week. Your 17Mbps is considering good already. Mine sometimes got only 5-10Mbps. Speedtest is good. Youtube 1080p running smooth. But download is bad. Suspecting that TM is messing up the international routing.

Hi guys. I am one the victims in this "early bird discount" fiasco.
Do I need to lodge a report to unifi first or should i just go straight to the SKMM complaint?
Btw, how can I make a complaint through the OCC portal? Can anyone teach me? Thanks.

Ok. Just done my part complaining through SKMM. Hope for the best.
And I hope bro Zi-Tech won't mind that I was using his complain template as reference.
Thanks.

QUOTE(jmas @ Oct 19 2015, 05:10 PM) Hey Guys/Gals, I just got call from TM, answering my MCMC complain. For us early bird paying higher price than the current package, we can walk-in to nearest TM point to request them to lower our package. According to the agent, this is new directions from their marketing team on last friday OUR MCMC COMPLAIN BOMBARDMENT WORKED! So is that means from now on, we the "real early bird" can just walk in TM point and change the price without making any complaints in prior? Anyway, I already sent the complaint and SKMM did reply me instantly that the issue already escalated to TM. So I will just wait for their call and see how it goes. I sent the complaint to SKMM yesterday. But today I didn't receive any calls. If tomorrow still no calls, what should I do next? Just go straight to the TM point and settle it myself?

Sent the complaint to SKMM on Monday. Until today, still no response from TM. So I decided to not to wait for any longer, I went to TM point and settle it myself. While I mentioned about the discount, I haven't finished my explanation yet, the staff already knew what I was trying to talk about. Without any question, the staff submitted my request via the computer, yellow form was signed, for office record. After I went back home, open OCC, RM 20 special discount is added into my profile. So for brothers and sisters who subscribed unifi 30/50 before 15/10, and not yet claimed their special early bird discount, hurry up. Make sure you get it before TM changes their mind. QUOTE(razorkid @ Oct 21 2015, 05:12 PM) hi, whats the rm20 discount? Does it have anything to do with the new tm prices launched on 15/10? How do I go about claiming it? Can I do it online? Such a hassle to physically walk into the store and wait... If you were subscribing to Unifi 30/50 before 15/10. then yes, you are qualified for the RM20 discount. And no. You must go to TM point to process since it involved with form submittion and your IC copy. This post has been edited by Max2006: Oct 21 2015, 05:16 PM

QUOTE(Codroy @ Oct 22 2015, 11:22 AM) Guys wanna ask about rm20 discount. Just go to tmpoint then they will ask to fill borang aduan awam? Depends. Some needed to fill up the complaint form and explained the reason. While the others, like me, didn't need to. Just talk to the staff and he/she will settle it for you. Also, IC copy is needed. Don't forget to bring your IC along.

QUOTE(OKLY @ Oct 22 2015, 02:31 PM) Yes but that's the thing, when we subscribed to UniFi 30 before the official launch, everyone was told that the RM20 voice plan is optional. Now suddenly TM is telling me I have the voice plan. It's pretty obivous that TM doesn't want to give us the discount so easy. So they simply come up with a new excuse, said the RM20 discount is subjected to free call plan. So they would ask you: "you betul betul mau tolak 20 ringgit kah? Nanti you punya free call tak ada." But I confirmed and remember that when I registered few months ago, the staff told me the voice plan for unifi 30/50 is not free. The fact is there's no such free call thing when we subcribed to Unifi30/50 few months ago. But now they suddenly say it's free. This post has been edited by Max2006: Oct 22 2015, 04:37 PM

QUOTE(OKLY @ Oct 22 2015, 07:15 PM) But is there really unlimited free calls to TM numbers now? That's the thing we need to find out at the moment. As we already knew, TM is very good on changing the things without telling the customers in prior. Let's take this RM20 discount for example, if they took initiative to settle all the early birds' problem, then it would have save our time at going to TM point ourself and made the request. But the truth is TM wish to keep this as quiet as possible. If the customers found out and made noise, they give discount in order to shut their mouth. If the customers don't know anything about this at all (I am sure there are some out there), TM choose to keep quiet and act innocent. And this unlimited free calls to TM numbers, did they introduce right at the time when they announced the Unifi advance publicly? Or did they simply put this up after the real early customers like us starting to complain about the new promo price? No one knows. Even if this unlimited free calls is true, we still need to wait until the next bill to see if they really keep their promise. Do you want to take that risk? If you ask me, I won't. I rather take the RM20 discount and ignore the free calls service. That's more practical.

QUOTE(RViN @ Oct 26 2015, 01:24 PM) So its been a week since I filed complaints with MCMC and CFM over the whole RM199 for 30mbps fiasco ... no reply from either and no contact from TMNet. Wondering what I should do next. No need to wait for calls. Just go to Tm point and settle it there. Many people (including me) did that already. I complained to SKMM on Monday. I didn't wait for their calls. I went to TM point on Wednesday and settle it. And finally, I received a call from TM HQ on Friday. They said they did received a case from SKMM, but they also realized that I have settled it on Wednesday. So all is good. Right now, SKMM/CFM complaint is not a must anymore since TM already agree to give the discount to all the super early birds. The problem right now is you need to know which TM point could give you the discount (as we knew there's few of TM point still don't know anything about it yet). QUOTE(funnyface @ Oct 27 2015, 11:30 AM) went to TM point last saturday, she say cannot change from unifi30+ruby to unifi30 advance+ruby... can only change to aneka/venam or jumbo if wan to move to this new promo Nonsence. Either she was bluffing or she has zero knowledege on this matter. I myself was on unifi30 + ruby, and I did change to unifi30 advance + ruby successfully, with the RM20 discount. Which TM point you attended to? Try another one if you can. Most TM points in KL could handle this correctly.
