Hi, I just got called from Tm sales dept and they asked me whether it is interested to upgrade to 30mbps package. However, one thing concern me is that the upload speed is only 5mbps, will it affect online gaming experience? Because I often online gaming on PS4 and sometime shooting game required zero lag. So would like some advice from sifu here.

Why it have effect on live streaming?
Supposed important for live streaming is download speed?

So would you recommend 10mbps up/download or 30mbps download 5mbps upload?

I also download stuffs and watch football live streaming. I guess the upload speed wont effect me much right? I think the live streaming you mentioned here is we live streaming to others?

can anyone care to share what steps need to be taken after u receive the email that notify that ur unifi have been succesfully upgraded...

and what did u and tm do after u failed to experience the supposedly upgrade package...

i agreed to upgrade my unifi from 10mbps to 30mbps but my download is still 10mbps but my upload has been reduced to 5mbps which confirms that im on the 30mbps package...on my occ.unifi page also confirms that.
ive reboot,unplug the power source to the router,already filed a report and today the technician come and check and did something in my area but still nothing changed.
i can still menoron at 1.1MBps like any other day while im on the 10mbps.
tomorrow i have to call the technician to report that im still facing the prob...any pointer/s that i can do on my end?

i filed last friday and only today they sent someone...even then he received the wrong info stating that i have no internet as to what ive reported...this port u mention,do they need to sent someone or they can do it remotely at the center?

Guys, got a question that's been on my mind, I'm currently on the Unifi VIP 10 package and am looking to upgrade to the UniFi 30 package since the price is the same and I don't use my house phone to call anyone anyways.

Primarily what I do at home is online gaming, streaming and regular downloads.

My only concern with the 5Mbps upload speed is that would it be sufficient for online gaming ? I understand that the UniFi 30 speed is asymmetrical so the upload might get congested (I'm assuming worse case scenario here). Anyone out there with experience on this ?

Not if you are hosting an online gaming server like me. Upload bandwidth becomes really important.

What is the default unifi username password? Try to change the RG to Asus router then asked for user/password...

Username should be serviceid@unifi?

I received email with this statement: -

Does it mean i need to provide them a photo copy of my IC when the installer comes and install?

is the VIP30 upgrade @ RM169 from VIP10 available through phone call? i'm told in twitter to visit the nearest TM Point which is 30 minutes drive away.

what are the downsides of upgrading it other than limited upload speed?

if no free fixed line calls then cannot already since my mom calls a lot.

I'm using VIP20 and also offered VIP 50 today for RM249.

24 months contract applies and upload for VIP 50 is 10mbps only

Hi all. 1st time unifi subscriber here. Is the hyppTV package confirm upon installation? i receive email from TM for order confirmation but it never stated which package i am ordering. I register through agent for 30mbps.

I did use some torrent most also 30gb to 40gb a month. Is that a lot? Even after I made payment the internet speed is slow. Avg I will get 7mbps, lowest 2mbps.I thought ppl hack my line, I change pass every week but still same.
