You can search garage sales or you can purchase directly from TM (not recommended though as the price will be higher)

You need to change one setting

a user posted it few weeks ago, I'll try to find that

Found :

Today I encountered the page cannot be displayed error message with an Error Code 108005

ErrorCode: 108005

At the same time I also encountered the NTP Server error message too.

After trying the whole day, I managed to solve both problems.

How to solve the NTP Server error

user posted image

The solution is to set it to another NTP server by changing the IP Address of the default one to 128.199.84.169
How to solve the HyppTV IPTV connection problem ErrorCode: 108005

user posted image

After trying all sorts of things and by random chance, I managed to solve this issue by fiddling around with the Set Ethernet option.

What I did was I changed it from Static IP to DHCP and did a reboot. After that my HyppTV IPTV connection was re-established and I could watch my HyppTV Channels.

Ok. Just done my part complaining through SKMM. Hope for the best.

And I hope bro Zi-Tech won't mind that I was using his complain template as reference.

Thanks.

Below is a breakdown of actual real-life average speeds you can expect from wireless routers within a reasonable distance, with low interference and small number of simultaneous clients:

802.11b - 2-3 Mbps downstream, up to 5-6 Mbps with some vendor-specific extensions.

802.11g - ~20 Mbps downstream

802.11n - 30-50 Mbps typical, varying greatly depending on configuration, whether it is mixed or N-only network, the number of bonded channels, etc. Specifying a channel, and using 40MHz channels can help achieve 70-80Mbps with some newer routers. Up to 100 Mbps achievable with more expensive commercial equipment with 8x8 arrays, gigabit ports, etc.

802.11ac - 70-100+ Mbps typical, higher speeds possible over short distances without many obstacles, with newer generation 802.11ac routers, and client adapters capable of multiple streams.

It is basic (1 month current + 1 month advance)

Better apply through agent as they (me) provide one month cash rebate so the total is 1 month only

Thanks for the info. I am facing this weird issue using RG4332 router with 30Mbps subscription.
Near to router - Speedtest show ard 28Mbps
Wifi with 3 bar signal - Ard 15Mbps
Wifi with 2 bar signal - Ard 6 to 7 Mbps

Will upgrading to another router help?

it helps bro. Stock TM router sucks.

Check out my speed for Unifi 50 with Asus router. I can get full speed also on upper floor.

Asus RT-AC87U. For a two-storey house, this one is enough without the need to use any repeater or bridge for the 1st floor. even outside of my car porch also signal is full.

so if you dont get full speed on your wifi connection just change the router to a good one. TM never guarantees Wifi connection speed anyway.

Just wondering if the current vip20 user still under contract can upgrade to this new 30 mbps package which i plan to ugrade to 50mbps? The reason I'm asking is the vip20 package is more expensive than the new 30mbps package, so it is considered a downgrade for the monthly charge

Saw someone posted it before. His/her request was rejected because TM considers it as a "downgrade".

from what i know, VIP20 can only be changed to the Unifi Advance 50 only, in which your contract will be renewed back to 2 years if you opt for the promo price of RM229. Manual registration at TM Point is required.
