Its been 1 1/2 months since I started eating sh*tloads and doing some light lifting with dumbbells at home. Almost 5kgs gained. What many people here said, if you think you're eating alot, you're most probably not at all.

Eat 6 meals a day, don't EVER skip breakfast. Eat in between main meals, drink milk in the morning and night. One thing though, you'll find yourself spending wayyyyyy more money on food, no joke.

Why do threads like this keep popping up like mushrooms after the rain?
Gain weight = eat, sleep and lift weights...

ain't nothing to it but to do it.

before u featherweights claim that u're already eating a lot, come and stay with me for a day and watch me eat... You don't even eat 1/5 of what i eat, that's why i am 105kg and you're 50kg

some ppl has difficulties gaining weight... like me and my roomate... we'll eat like some barbarian but yet doesnt gain weight... 2 of us will order 6 ppl's food each time... and its always fun to see the look of the waiter's face... question like "is there anyone else coming?" or "you sure ar??!" is common n funny for us... yet we finishes the food and plate will be always clean...

anyways... i found out a way to gain weight for me... Workout and consuming protein supplements... i've gained 12kg in 4 months time..

light lifting doesnt help much because :
4. You MUST squat and deadlift if you are going to reach your bodies growth potential. Think it through. Doing squats or deads activates 70-85% of the bodies overall musculature in one move. Doing a set of curls maybe 3-5%. Which sends a big signal that the body better get better at synthesizing protein and better at handling the need to grow as a unit? You will NEVER reach your potential without doing the squats and deads.

taken from http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/367750
and its true.. experienced it myself...

and excessive eating is bad for health... so gain weight the correct and healthier way..

I assume it's some organic mumbo-jumbo.
Any good protein source will work (eggs, whey, meat). Rice protein also happens to be one of it.

I'm 20 with 50kg and 168cm. Look very skinny and small, no matter how much I eat, I just won't grow even 1 kg. I want to gain weight, in fact, "eating" and "exercise" won't work on me. Any other way can I take? Those gain weight drink (powder, milk) is it good for my case?
