I do not take sandwich at midd morning. But if I want to take whey protein is it ok?
*
yes, every one should take the protein as our bodies require protein to manufacture muscle tissue, hormones, enzymes and other essential materials to keep the body functioning properly.

^ Can also. But please only eat them when you can't find any real food. Real food > whey protein.

gain weight from 77kg to 90kg in 1 years and 3 months.

How?

1. Shut up and stop complaining that you cant gain weight even you eat like cow
2. Enough for the stupid time hanging in front computer to watch those HK/ TW drama and dota and you tell me you have to no time to gym?
3. Go to the gym and lift the weight. Squat, Bench Press, Overhead Press, Deadlift, Row! (google for the guide, there is alot of usefull guideline in internet, and it is FOC) go to gym and doing countless biceps curls doesnt count as a gym day
4. Eat frequent meal with balance nutrition.
A: Lazy la.. when i back from work already very tired.
B: Don't want la, i don't want to be huge like the hulk, very ugly (if you think is that easy to get that kind of size then you are an idiot)
C: No gym at my place la...bla bla (Home bodyweight workout then)

Me: My answer will be the same for you, fxxk off and stick with your batang body. Enjoy:)

Read above post again for answers, it may not sink in the first time.

Oh, and I want to emphasize the gym and weight training again.

Guys,

Read through the thread just now, someone mentioned that we should take 1gm of protein for 1 pound of body weight. Is it correct?

Let's say I'm 55kg, I should take 121gm of protein daily right? Or more than 121gm to gain mass? I do weight training daily.

Talking about supplement, does full cream milk helps? It costs me RM17.00 for 5 days consumptions. Is there any other better choice, such as appeton and GNC?

Appreciate any opinion / comment

Thank you.

yes i know, im already seeing changes but looking at these weight gain as smth to add on to it, rather than relying on it.
breakfast: 3 eggs, 2 sausages, baked beans
lunch & dinner: chap fan since i'm a student and out most of the time. lots of rice and meat (preferably not fried), tofu and vege. some dinners home cooked food (brown rice, lots of chicken, vege).
tea: sandwiches
supper: depends, since i work quite late. here's where i cheat most times.

Care to share your workout routine too?
With that and your diet, we'll have a more complete picture.

nothing really fixed yet as its a busy period now.
mostly consists of weights, pull ups, pushups (sets of 50) and this ab exercise (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JN7LuzqLoGc).

guys i think ure missing the point. im seeing improvements with what im already doing. i just wanna take it further.
the question i am asking is that im looking at all these diff weight gain products and would like to go for them as an additional supplement, where should i start since there are so many in the market.

As long as you're putting in weight and resistance training, I won't worry about you putting on excess fat as weight instead of muscle. I was worried you might just had listed jogging as your workout.

Don't bother with weight gainer supplements. Really. If you wanted extra carbs you could just eat more. Don't buy into marketing. If you're thinking of taking it further, you could try out protein powders. Your protein intake could be improved as Asian diet is notoriously low in protein and higher in carbs. With protein, you're feeding your muscles and building a better physique as well as gaining weight, rather than just becoming fat.

ON Whey Protein is the common weapon of choice among the people I know. You might want to give it a go.
