So old users can still continue using the previous password right?

No idea, I don't work for Maxis

But my old PPPOE password is still working and it did not change automatically

Does anyone knows method to gain access into nokia modem from maxis?

On unifi provided nokia modems, i can manually enter certain ip on my laptop, connect lan cable into any lan port at nokia, and go 192.168.1.1 to gain access inside gui. On maxis-tm infra nokias, this method did not work (or i didnt put correct ip)

Reason: to get my slid password and put into my other modem

update: tm came and replaced modem, also reroute my fibre line to a better port. better reading, hopefully no more signal loss. was able to get into the new-ish modem (fiberhome, white color, looks used), and get my SLID.

I believe it's a promo inside the app, 2 days only, yesterday and today

Only at like, a few selected branches and they're very far away branches
If you live near one, great! Otherwise for most people it's too far away

Not sure the exact setting for your ROG router, but try go to LAN > IPTV > Select ISP Profile > Choose Maxis.

thank you for all the replies and help, actually none of the Maxis Fibre profile works. I had to manually enter the VID that I got from the original router after logging in via Administrator.

The VLAN ID / VID that I needed was 621

Also changing from private to public IP will require you to change from .home to .public on your username which they also forgot to mention T_T

P.S: I was using a couple of ROG / TUF / ZenWiFi routers for testing

What a joke if you need to downgrade a package that requires a 24 month contract.

It's same across any other fibre provider.

Did you connect router to a wrong port

Note: Maxis fiber must use LAN2

OMG. I just got to know this today, I have been using LAN1 for years and no issues until recently, it easily gets disconnected. I called Maxis, they told me to use LAN2 and I have changed to it, hopefully it solves the disconnection issue. hmm.gif Why was it possible in the past?

Is your line from Unifi to Maxis? If yes, it could be how Unifi configure your profile.
My previous line from Unifi to Digi Fibre, they configure it on LAN 2. Then from Digi to Maxis, they configure LAN 3 and LAN 4. So if I use LAN 2 for Maxis it won't work.
I have try login to my BTU and found out that LAN 2 is set for Digi, LAN 3 and 4 for Maxis.

It is using UniFi infra but have been on Maxis since day 1, didn't change ISP from UniFi or anything. Probably the TM technician did it since day 1.
How to login to the BTU? sweat.gif

Probably the guy screwed it up or I screwed it up when I changed to my own router? laugh.gif
Anyway, it was all good for 3 years, no frequent disconnection until recently.

Depend on what type of BTU, but generally need to set static IP on PC, then logon to the BTU address, e.g. 192.168.1.254, key in the correct username and password. Some of the BTU like Huawei, you need to disconnect the fibre cable otherwise cannot access the web GUI.
No matter what, there is not much things you can change in there, as TM does have the ability to override the settings according to what is provision on their end.

It could also be that the technician update some settings remotely, who knows. but then other providers riding on Unifi infra will always be on port 2, 3, and 4.

Recently my area changed to maxis own network, so at BTU it's LAN1 and at router is WAN.

I login to router interface, on 2.4G and 5G band, data transmitted is way more than received 61.7 GB vs 3.7 GB. Why eh?

I just want to know data usage before deciding to use home 5G.

The statistics on router is not accurate though

And don't use 5G if you care about good connectivity, it's not comparable to a proper fiber Internet
