So early this month, I went to TM Serdang to have my VIP 20 upgraded to Unifi 50. After much arguing, they agreed to let me take the 50Mbps package without Hypp TV bullshit for around 260-270++ (cant remember exact amount).

10 days later, I drop 100 a call and was told that my request is marked as Pending in their system for unknown reason, and they're going to pursue the matter further.

Fast forward today, still nothing, and I just learnt this from a friend of mine; Unifi 50's upload speed is capped to 10 Mbps, which is kinda pointless for me.



So there's that. I'm going to drop them a call and cancel my request. I'll just stick with the current VIP 20 for the time being.

What do you mean by can see cannot sign? The staff didn't allow you to sign because the price didn't show correctly in their system?

Mine also late. Received call from TM on the 10th, but completed the upgrade yesterday. So much for 3 working days promise!

Still not in a hurry to upgrade to 50Mbps
Rather wait for 2 more months till September rather than signing up for 24 months contract.

Overwhelming response from their customers plus the EDM was blasted out so near to Raya time all contributed to the delay.

On twitter they mention 7-14 working days, instead of 3 working days promised by the telemarketer. Lack of coordination it seems. Btw, anybody know error 105406 on iphone/ipad means for hypptv everywhere?

Cause she also think this price is impossible and he not sure system ago the correct one or not . He pas me the form to fill up. Say if confirm 169 then proceed for me . Else will cancel for me . He call Telekom also ask for confirmation but Telekom refuse to gv him a black and white email for this . As I don want to pay 200++ so I just ask him double confirm before proceed for me .

CS called me offering upgrade from 10mb to 30mb with price RM219. Free land line call and HyppTV (mega pack from previous promo) remain unchanged. Is it cheap or I can nego better price?

Upload 5mb will it affect online game like warcraft?

Yup..i had received the same call offer by CS...from 10MB to 30MB RM219 without GST. TM Fixed line- Free, HyppTV Mega Remain...i ask him to call back tomorrow.

But one thing...the upload speed been down from 10MB to 5MB... not sure worth it or not ??

Is it really confirmed there is price reduction coming September for 30 and 50MB ?

Got friend working in TM told me there is no such info on this...

If there is a need just upgrade now. Price reduction is still a rumour. Rumour being what it is cannot be trusted. TMNUT still enjoying the monopoly. Reduction of price don't make biz sense. Just my 2 Sen.
