Yes. There was once I waited but nothing arrived, so contacted and they said they didn't receive my redemption. So, they sent via email instead after I requested as I needed it urgently.
The last round I redeemed they ran out of RM 100 voucher and asked if I can accept RM 50x2 instead. They WhatsApp-ed me to ask, I also requested to send via email.

However, typically it is sent via postage.

Today I received a call from this personal mobile number (012-xx) and IVR voice mentioned it was a call from HSBC & a specific transaction mentioned. Then, someone pick-up and greet me and say 'How he can help me?'

I said I never call you, so asking back what's matter? He said, ohh & ask me to provide my phone number to check.

I just hang-up as I know it's scam and wasting my time. I expect he later ask me to provide him OTP to do something.

So, be careful ya. No bank will call you to ask your personal information. It's SCAM.

i got annual fee waived, but they insist no ST rebate this year for me. I mentioned cancel the card, and told that cancellation the card still must pay the ST because is billed, unlike any other banks will reverse because you did not use at all after charged.
lodged a few complaints, via phone calls, chat, and email. will see how it goes.

lesson of the day: never ever trust the bank when they say will every year waive all the charges for you as long as you keep the card.

Raise a complaint to BNM. I did that earlier, in the end HSBC die die have to cancel it. But still have the guts to say as a gesture of goodwill to offset, i.e. not admit that CC SST is prepaid in advance for the future 12 months.

this past 1 year I memang no use HSBC card d, probably after getting all the cashback of ST, i will cancel all. cut it off once and for all. whistling.gif sweat.gif

From earlier posts here, the CB SST may take few months. My suggestion, if get CB just continue use but mark in your calendar/reminder to cancel it let's say 3 months before due date next year. Meanwhile continue to milk the rebates/etc.

For us as normal customers, we don't need to have long term loyalty like last time.

past 1 year hardly go out, so i don't really use HSBC card d.... i been not following their 1 swipe per month to waive annual fee all these while, and still managed to get waiver for both.. probably they are trying to clean up their lists...

so, might as well i get out myself, don't need headache... troublesome to request every year also.... rclxub.gif
