Just managed to get through in my 3rd try at 12am++ call. Probably best to call at odd hours. Submitted a dispute to reverse payment and block card first. Dispute will be resolved within 10 working days. Once its sorted, I was advised to walk in branch or call again to cancel later. Oh well.

Their customer service helpline is terrible, and their chat function is utterly terrible too.
I removed my HSBC card from those online transactions like Shopee, eWallet, etc, and will only use for physical transaction.

The only reason I'm sticking with HSBC for now is because the 35000 rewards points to redeem RM100 Shopee voucher, Grab, etc.

I had an unauthorized transaction on my HSBC credit card which i realized after checking my statement 3 weeks ago. Total was RM98 to bootcampmind.com. No sms notification was received for this transaction.
I contacted HSBC immediately to report the unauthorized transaction and cancel the card. Received my replacement card within a week. As for the RM98, finally i see the amount being adjusted in my credit card statement today after 3 weeks of reporting the transaction.

mine was kena usd22 from ccscamshop.com . they old card has been blocked and cs send new card. now this hesitate to use the hsbc until saw this thread

New card? I got it on my new pb Islamic visa platinum when I newly receive it. It gone after like few days, the visa provisioning seem legit and should be a function of visa card.

some others might be victimized by this statement and just leave it as it is when they see visa provisioning in USD.

go understand what is visa provisioning by some google.

it won't appear on its own. somebody must have try to pre-authorize it.

the safe and correct way: if you see unknown visa provisioning service in USD, contact bank cs IMMEDIATELY

No, and i just updated to MIUI 13 android 12.

I deleted and reinstall, able to login a while then this screen appeared again.

It will appear on it own as per what visa provisioning service do. It is visa effort to activate this service they offer, please go research more before comment. For my case it is appear on it own for my new card and I saw it as I monitor the transaction periodically. Some are activated on it own but doesn't aware as it will disappear from the transaction history shortly it appear. Seem like you are the 1 should understand more what is visa provisioning service through Google.......

if its in USD and you never transact USD transaction at all recently.

this particular transaction NOT LEGIT and SCAM transaction. period.

but of course, the service itself is provided by Visa as a whole, where anyone can use it, including scammer
