i just saw a transaction USD 0 - Visa provision service -Pending on my HSBC app. Straight block the card and fill up dispute form. Stupid CS on hsbc chat. waited an hour, no response

After spending 20 minutes holding the line, I decided to just leave messages via their chat app. After couples hours they responded back, they going to block my card and send a new one instead.

Since the pending charges is USD 0.00 so they not really concerned about to dispute the charge.

I was trying to solve this problem by reinstalling the app, but after reinstallation and trying logon , was stopped by DEVICE LIMIT REACHED eventhough this is the only device/installtion. Now cant even access via app only desktop/windows. doh.gif Also cant do transaction that needs SecureCode.

call CS to block it and get replacement card
seemed the scammer is trying to test if our card is working.

if we don't call the bank to block it, next thing is they will start charging scam transactions.

Just got my new HSBC card after i requested the old one to be blocked.

So guys, please be extra vigilant on your cc.
No more auto saving your cc details on websites/platforms especially Shopee/Lazada.
Then double triple check on which online web you going to pay.
Then remember which hypermarket/shop you use to paywave on the POS terminal.

Yes i know for the sake of speedy payment & convenience , but trust me, that convenience will be the trouble to you later on. icon_rolleyes.gif

Wish HSBC can use with Apple Pay Malaysia right now. yawn.gif

I always encounter this problem with HSBC "chat with us" function, I sent my inquiries to CS early in the morning. I did not expect them to reply quickly based on past experience and CS replied about 6 hours later but there was no notification that there was response from the app.

Do you guys face the same issue? Is there some kind of setting that I should update?

my card also kena unauthorisation transaction, careful all. No people answer the call pun. really crazy with HSBC

Faster check your card now.
