I remember I pm someone corrected him.. dun kena fooled by ppl... extreme series processor r those wif 9, like 4930xm.. tat the extreme processor

Quad core r 4700mq.. those wif min 7 at 2 digit...
The first digit is the series.. 2nd digit show quad, dual or octa core.

However.. wat Ur real usage... normal dun need quad core...

1. Preferred Brand
Any with decent after sales

2. Budget
RM1,000 ~ RM1,500. The lower the better
Thinking of getting a RM1k laptop and a 2.5k desktop (+Monitor). Wise choice? Or should I just blow RM3.5k on a laptop?

3. Usage
Is it possible to throw in an SSD with a budget like that?
For work, movies, light gaming
Considerably light

4. Preferred laptop/screen size
14" should be good

the yoga can as well.
anyways flex-2 have an extra RAM slot for upgrade (though it is better getting whoever you buy from to upgrade it for you as it wont void warranty if they are lenovo's authorized seller)

Hi Guys,

Looking for lightweight laptop for my frequent business trip

I am considering Acer switch 12 or Surface Pro 3 i5. Price is like rm1k difference. I wonder if it is better to buy Acer switch 12 or get SP3 as the performance is much better to make it worth??

I just know SP3 is lighter at 0.8kg and Acer is at 1.2kgs without keyboard.
