hello, I would like to look for a decent laptop that can be used for simple video editing, basic photoshop, able to show an ok detailed environment in a not so heavy 3d virtual world (would like to take nice photo in SecondLife)

1. Preferred Brand: anything that is reliable, dell, hp, lenovo?
2. Budget; RM 1-2k
3. Usage: Simple video editing (just splice and stitch and publish), basic photoshop editing (not more than 5 layers), want to run 3D virtual world and see decent virtual environment that is pleasing to the eyes (secondlife)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - no preference, no need to big like 17", easy and light to carry around is more important

Hello! Good morning all sifu and I need some recommendations here.

1. Preferred brand: Any, as long as worth the value of money.
2. Budget: 2k-2.2k.
3. Usage: For work, movie. 720p. Minor gaming (FIFA only)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15" inch. Light and thin(Not too thin like a paper )
5. Reliable and has long useful life. lasting battery life too.

I think the closest specs with this pc is Dell inspiron 7447, 14" full hd, i7-4710HQ, 8gb ram, gtx850m, 1tb hdd @ Rm3199. There is no i5 quad core processor for laptop, so going to i7 quad core is the only choice IMO. Alternatively, there is also a lower specs for this model, with i5-4210H, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd around Rm2.7k.

3. Movies, documentation (microsoft), surfing, no gaming
4. 13.3' or smaller would be better

** With or without fan is okay, as long as it will not get overheated.
** As quite often I am watching video on bed , would prefer similar characteristics like netbook (light weight) or tablet (screen without keyboard), but not iPad (too bad that I still need the Window function properties).

My RIG is recommendation specifications (higher setting based on the website). So yeah.

Take away the lasting battery life criteria, and graphic oriented (at least run fifa med setting), what other laptop do you recommemd (Beside Dell)? Budget 2.5k.
