Not with either of them, am with the main operator of the two gas plants in Karratha. Not really a big company like Petronas however.

I spend more time in the other plant which is older and more interesting things to see tongue.gif *If you get what I meant*

I know I am still enjoying the temperature there right now as it's winter over here. Can't imagine how its going to be like during summer.

Hmm, did a degree locally over there and ended up getting sponsored by them in their graduate program. Very lucky I have to say.

Yeah I know, its not that big anyway. When I mention the company, a lot of people has no idea about it. But hey, give some credit to the company, it used to be from the Eastern States =P

What I can say is economy is not doing that well for O&G as well. Usually the case when deals break down, exploration not finding anything useful and so on.

Even its not big but is quite a big puller here in west blush.gif

We get supplied Blundstones and sometimes Redbacks.

But I personally prefer to wear Mongrel branded boots. Have worn the same pair for nearly 4 years now.

besides the safety shoes/boots is comfort to wear (require a few times wearing to run-in to fit your legs shape) and comply to ASTM F2413/EN 20345/AS NZS 2210.3, it is highly recommended that it is also punctured resistant S3.

some pecos in the market not S3 compliance.

Hi,
Hee sorry for my previous long and inapropriate ramblings post...i tot i cud at least relieve a lil bit of my dissapointment by being such a keyboard warrior..btw,hw to apply for MT?is it under talent corp?
Y ong?bcoz i took petroleum engineerng which eventually limits my hunting areasĀ  cry.gif

now reasoned with taking petroleum engineering and limit your job hunting...

so for those consider to take the petroleum engineering, pls to ensure you are really interested and have the capability, not just follow the trend/$... at the end,?!?!
study what one's really interested in and have the strength in and not just oil & gas the only career. there are other great ones!

I am fresh graduate mechanical engineer currently seeking an opportunity in oil and gas industry to head start my career. Was aiming for field engineer for more onsite experience but got offered piping engineering instead

Does piping engineer provide a good headstart for career and in long term wise? Appreciate experience sharing from people here
