Hi sifu-sifu and otai-otai.

Need some advice from u guys. i just got invitation from Halliburton for a test session. What is this test session all about? is it calculation? is it case study? is it IQ test? is it english test? any advice what do i need to prepare? btw it is for Entry Level Maintenance Engineer – Logging & Perforating position.

Congrate bro.I applied for those entry-level positions as well. Same fate, Got rejected all over the time.But for the position as u mentioned above

is still "in process"..So,i still have a chance for the position to be called...hehe.. When they call you bro?Where's the location?Is it at kemaman or labuan?

Did you need to do the test at their location or just through online?

they just emailed me this afternoon. the test is on friday, this position is 4 kemaman base... they asked me to go to their office at KL to take that exam.. uhuhu

And yea..for me it takes a year for them to call for SI.and now waiting for confirmation date and time for my SI

Hi, I am new here...I just got an interview at Innovative Pipeline Solution....anybody got some information on this company?

Dear otai2 oil n gas yg bijaksana.. This is my situation i hope you can help me.
I am fresh graduate having a chemical engineering background. I love engineering work eg. Calculation and learning software such as hysis, flare net ect. However i accepted a job in hooked up and commissing company. In this company they only have project management team (PTM) only. Soo there are not much of engineering works ( i asked already). They bond me with 2 years contract and im now in procurement.. what should i do? please help me masters.. (much appreciated if you can suggest me suitable company or any vacant position for me to apply)

Hi guys.

I'm keen on entering OnG field. Currently has 3 years experience in software development field. I graduated with degree in engineering (overseas universities) in 2011. I had applied to a lot of OnG companies previously, but still nothing coming...

questions:
I feel like my 3 years experience outside of engineering field is counting against me. So, in your opinion, for me to enter OnG field, I should :
a) keep trying
b) do master in petroleum engineering

Would i have better chance to join OnG through (a) or (b)?

Any chance of fresh graduate in Quantity Surveying working in OnG industry?? Anyone of you have experience on this?? please share~

Yes. My friend a QS graduate is now a Procurement Manager in one of the PSC.

He started working as an estimator with a fabricator in the procurement department.

he carry few year experience in other industry before he enter to ONG industry??
how about the salary and working scope and condition??

Yeah..with QS background you can be as Contract Administrator.
Fundamental is still same. Cost & Contract.
But nature of work totally will different from what you learn at school.

Salary? For fresh graduate same as construction industry.
