Hoping to go Shell LNG HQ in Singapore. But all they do there is downstream works right?  hmm.gif And I'm quite tempted with offshore in miri though  drool.gif

Hehe. Linde here can learn all the basic things needed in the gas industry I guess. Heard from colleagues that it is quite similar with the LNG industry.

Yea. I'm quite sure they have projects there smile.gif

I don't really mind working with linde to be honest since it's one of the biggest companies in the industrial gas field. Just want to explore other opportunities like shell or even halliburton. Belum tentu they wanna hire me also sweat.gif

I am not so sure bout it on Shell LNG. If you prefer offshore work, then probably u can try SLB or Halli. Not bad i guess.

For Linde, u may try production (ASU or tonnage) but nvr try project based especially at EES. HAHA

Btw, u intern at which department? Mind yo share and FYI, I am ex-Linde

Guys,

Appreciate some advice.

What do you guys think of piping engineer post at IFP (innovative fluid process) engineering?

Possible to learn layout, material and stress in one go?

Thanks

Hi guys,
sory for spamming..im so the very much desperate nw to get a job..why is it so hard to get a call for a job iv??I was rejected and being dumped by two companies at the very final stage sad.gif u knw the bitter feelings when u r being pushed away to the starting point when u r one more step to the summit. I was very VERY VERY frustrated after all the hard journey and turbulence tht i've been through from the one-to-one iv,case study, group iv,ppt, technical assessment when finally at d very last minute u r being dejected while ur friends dy secured dey job n u r wasting ur money for the transportation tickets and accommodation for the sake of those ivs?i mean what r the purposes of making these 3-7 stages of iv.gosh next tyme y dun u do 10000 stages of iv to filter all those 'feelingless' applicants.now i need to regain my strength and emotion from the scratch again sad.gif any motivational words or vacancies available for those who r not that very much outspoken and dun really knw the technique to gebang and do all sweet talking stuff.any advice?any ideas what r d general criteria n requirements needed by ong comp? icon_question.gif

Sincerely from,
someone who din receive any iv offer after those two sad sad ivs
p/s im a product of local uni

when i was fresh graduate with 1-2 years experience got 1 such similar chance like the above, went through a few stages but no need pay flight tickets and accommodation, just need pay car petrol and parking, at the end not given offer. but i did not type anything like the above at here.
i kept trying. and at last 1 Management Trainee (MT) program helped me kick-start after many stages of assessments with 1000 plus applicants but was offered Engineer by the HR instead of MT post.

so action instead of "complain" and "blaming", etc.
any why must O&G? please try other fields. O&G not so suitable for those "complain" instead of "action" because if there were challenges, this kind of people may cause incidents in the field if not solve within seconds or minutes and waiting to complain to his/her boss.

Well you might want to try searching for "oil drilling service company" or that kind of query in Google. I got quite some known companies from googling that term. hmm.gif

AFAIK, when you're in an oil service company, you just need to make do with whatever assignment you're given by your supervisor. You might have a say in where you will be located, but in the end it boils down to your supervisor's decision. These are all I get from conversation with my friends who are working in the oil service industry. Please do CMIIW. nod.gif

Alright, thanks for the kind advice, appreciate much!
