After reading this thread, n also T&C, I am totally confused.

My statement date is 19th. so the below trans would fall on the same statement cycle of 20-8-16 to 19-9-16.

10/09/2016  AK   MYR 523.60 DR
29/08/2016  MAX  MYR 1,153.60 DR

Pls reconfirm my understanding:
August CB is rm25 (based on 1153.60)
Sept CB is rm10 (based on 523.60)

The dates above taken from online account are actual transaction dates.

Why then this T&C refers to as shown in your credit card statement?

5) Cashback
We give you cashback in the following situations:
(a) 2% cashback on your cashback transactions when you spend a minimum of
RM500 but less than RM800 per month in retail purchases (local and international) on your
CashBack Gold MasterCard as shown in your credit card statement, subject to a cap of RM10
per month

My credit card statement only show transaction date. There's no other date to confuse me. Can I know which date is confusing to you?

This t&c sounds like refering to CB based on statement month:
5) Cashback
when you spend a minimum of RM500 but less than RM800 per month in retail purchases (local and international) on your
CashBack Gold MasterCard as shown in your credit card statement.

My statement date is 19th. so the below trans would fall on the same statement cycle of 20-8-16 to 19-9-16.
10/09/2016 AK MYR 523.60 DR
29/08/2016 MAX MYR 1,153.60 DR

But this t&c says based on calender month:
6) Meaning of words
A month is defined as the period which runs from the first day of a particular calendar month to
the last day of that calendar month. Retail purchases must be posted to your account within a
particular month to be included towards meeting the minimum of RM500 per month in retail
purchases. If a transaction is posted in the following month, it will only be included in the
following month’s calculation.

Someone mentioned earlier apply through RinggitPlus not entitled for the RM300 cashback promo. I wonder how true it is as no t&c stated so.

As far as SCB is concern, they don't give waiver on annual fee before they are charged, wonder why you said otherwise?
