Oh like that I should apply it and swap with all other "ETC" spending I have. 3.4% if reach 2.5k seems good right?

EDIT: 3.4% is calculated from 85 max rebate cap divided by 2500.

Many users reported that SC annual fee can be waived easily by calling. How bout supplementary card annual fee? Is it easily waived too?

CS gave wrong info and clarified that supp card no AF.

The key point to ask for annual fee waiver is to ask it before it actually gets charged. If you only call after it appears in your statement then they have the upper hand and will give all kinds of excuses like it is very hard to retract the charged amount. Always call one month before the annual fee due date and ask for waiver and threaten to cancel the card if they don't do it. Unless it is a very high demand card, most of the time they will just waive for you.

If you have a lot of credit cards, get a credit card manager app for your phone (if you are using Android, see my signature) that will remind you to waive your credit card annual fees before it is due smile.gif

Calendar month

A month is defined as the period which runs from the first day of a particular calendar month to the last day of that calendar month. Retail purchases must be posted to your account within a particular month to be included towards meeting the minimum of RM500 per month in retail purchases. If a transaction is posted in the following month, it will only be included in the following month’s calculation. Please note that transactions may be posted by the merchant as late as 30 days after the transaction date.

My cash back gold card being charged RM 185.50 AF. Called to request waiver, was told to wait for 3 days to see the outcome.
By the way, getting RM 510 cash back for past one year. Consider very lucky

Hi guys, just wanted to ask on the Standard Chartered Cash Back Gold MasterCard, is the cash back still remain the same and is there is rumors that the benefits or rules will change?
I am looking for new cash back card to replace my HL Wise card.
Thanks.
