Me too. rclxms.gif
Youliang , if you couple Malaya with palmata shrimp in one tank, you will have mutlicolor shrimp tank that wont cross/interbreed.
Malaya change color, Palmata born different color baby, what a opposite match.

O.. your lfs really give free pest. Look like leech.
Highly suspect is one of the reason your shrimp died.
Check nitrite if tsnk still new.
Taiwan got sell seachem prime?
*
I'm using prime for water treatment and nitrates are in check. Those floating plants are brilliant for this.

Anyway, everything looks fine after the weekends. The shrimps are feeding nicely and active though I added some carbon for good measure.

those thick eheim blue sponge i hardly change, filter floss i change, just buy general one and cut(alot cheaper).
If want to buy cheap new eheim blue sponge, some lfs like east aqua do sell some at rm10 , those blue sponge they take out from filter when they do setup for customer.

~Palmata , mr.google will help -> http://swisstropicals.com/Neocaridina%20palmata.html
only got picture here, without a clear description , so far different site give different info, but from my experience in keeping/breeding them
they do give birth to different color baby.
~I got red , blue , black, green and chocolate baby from a green male and green female adults, you can selective breed them by separate a certain color babyin a tank to breed to get that particular color only, so far able to do that with black and blue color.
~Of course when i sell the juvenile palmata, i wouldn't give those black & chocolate as those fetch higher price then other color , market price is like rm12-20 for chocolate & black per tail.

lot of ppl use 100% RO water for their high value crs tank, adjust the mineral and tds by using additives.
You can do that with adding RO water during water change like 10% each time, but sooner or later tds will drop if don't have stuff to keep the tds slowly increase like mineral stone.
with the frequent water change, else can add in some mineral powder during the water change to compensate. Beside TDS, gh will also be affected.

Btw, what is the moss name you using for the carpet grass?
