Well...am back...

3 casualties this week...1 fire red, oto & 1 kamikaze malayan.
Glad the others & shrimplets are still doing fine.

Tank glass is still full of GDA...so no pics could be taken Not sure if the dead red was a berried female or not...though I hope not. Managed to see 1 of the reds molting...finally...that was nice.

The 2 crs are still doing good too. So hope to add in more in the near future. Who knows...maybe even OEBTs next time

Fire red is selectively breed form of cherry shrimp, that make them more fragile then cherry, ppl have 50/50 change of keeping them alive , you have higher chance with a very mature tank or tank with lot of algae.
They need constant food especially meat based food but not to the extent of overfeeding, feed them 2 time per day,
but make sure they finish each time within 1 to 2 hrs, else reduce feeding, if have algae can feed less.

Good man!... i hv not been here too. Too busy. seems my blue velvet is having good deliveries. Got more than a handsfull of them in the tank.   

i think their shrimps sell out very fast, at least thats the case in mid valley. lol i'm regular customer at east aqua.

anyway I dont use soil and no co2...still a bit weird they keep dying/disappear.

Disturbing the gravels will cause shrimp to die? @@ I always do that when I change water 

bought cherry..12 & 12 in 2weeks..1week got baby..already 1month keeping them..very small and very excited..i did choose some with eggs while at LFS..but somehow the adult now died one by one..1 or 2 sure kiok in 1 week..then next week same..1 or 2 sure kiok..feed them with 2 boiled spinach leaves for each 4/5 days..

the shrimplet still survive although i'm not sure if some kiok also i cannot see cause too small..shrimplet varies in size..so i guess they from different mother..
