Mind to share some images and also whre did you get the headlamp from? Many many thanks in advance!

this is exactly what i got, as posted in of the post earlier
pretty solid, full brightness can go up to 2 hrs before it dims a little bit n finally goes off around the 3 hr mark
for the 50% brightness mode, it stays that way constantly for about 7 hrs half before the red warning sign appears n this goes on for about 45 mins before going off completely
not too sure how bright or wide it can shine cuz i only have this so far

Hah, now this forum is getting to be very hot... more and more foldables are being bought. Pretty soon, we will be able to see more and more foldies riding in the city, parks, gardens, ... going to work... going to the shops...
Once you get your new bike, be sure to ride slow in the beginning, learn its various functions, change gears, learn the balancing part during stopping the bike and during cornering.
And if you ride at night, Lights are very, very important! Don't ride unless you have a rear light. The front lights can be a small torch light tied down to handlebars.. But the rear light should be red and this will be your life saver.
I finally bought a knog blinders rear... but expensive nya... yup, I can go night riding with a clearer mind now! The battery life is great!!

I did buy the knog blinders front much earlier, but like you said, the battery life is a little short.

but the saving point is that it is bright enough for really dark roads..
i really think we shld have a 1st post info etc!
btw guys make sure ur headlight dsnt blind other road users
do a field test, get down from ur bike n put urself in front of it n the light, if it's blinding u then it's blinding other users n that is very dangerous for everyone
don't skimp on lights indeed if u ride at night, those can save our ass n lives

This evening a riding kaki brought her Tern Link D8 for me to tune the rear derailleurs as the chain was skipping between cogs. When the bike was here, I was suprised!

First the gear cables was frayed and the cable stub was just a mere inch left!

She said she never touch any adjustments. It's really shocking to see that a main dealer having their posh outlet in Sea Park can sell the bike without proper adjustments. They sell straight out of the box. The first ride she had after getting the bike, the mudguards fell off! I was a witness to that. Until today, there was more shock to come. The rear derailleur was not a Neos but a Suntour which was shaped similarly. This plasticky rear derailleur is really lousy! I am not sure if this was the standard RD for the Tern Link D8. Suntour maybe good in suspension forks but they still need a lot of improvements on their RDs.
Luckily I still have the original Neos 8 speed from my Boardwalk. She switched to the Neos. Those intending to buy Terns, especially the Link D8, check the RD.
perhaps we shld really highlight this to Tern, those dealers r clearly very irresponsible n have lousy service
