QUOTE(samosaurus @ Aug 27 2013, 12:07 AM) That Kukuxumusu is getting really rare.. People buy it just for the frame.. is kukuxumusu price at 2k a good buy...Curve D3 is long gone.. Unless of you can find one listed on bicycle buy & sell in really good condition, you might want to snag it. Sam I can't decided between uno and kukuxumusu... both quote at 2k... |

QUOTE(etigge @ Aug 30 2013, 08:40 AM) I think you can find 48T (but alot of 44T though) mountain bike cranks and they are cheaper too if you are not choosy about level. Off course if you want Deore or higher it's more expensive. You just need to take out the other 2 rings. Also many are upgrading and you find a lot of used ones in Bicycle Buy Sell. There are a few riders in this forum that organizes bike rides. Just keep a look out in this thread. tried a few place...but can't find what I want..my uno is a single speed bike... front fsa (5 ludang) 52t..back 18t.. wanting to find 46t/48t (5 lubang) road spec chainring... or any of you guys who bought the 1st batch lg pop foldie with beige tire that have 48t fsa crank trade with me... |

QUOTE(anti@ @ Aug 31 2013, 02:54 AM) hey everyone. hi anti..i wannat ask, is it foldie kinda uncomfortable compare to mtb? my weight around 95 ~ 97 around 172cm, is foldie suit me ? cuz i planning to get a foldie which is convenience to me I weight more or less as you (at 95kg) and I have a jamis durango and a dahon uno... I rode more on my uno that my mtb...as I go around town on my daily chores... the main things is that it folds...making it more convince for me... the riding position is different from mtb as it give you a more up right riding position and it's more comfy... as for saddle...invest in a good 1 or it will be a pain in the ASS... it's my 1st foldie and when I bought it...I do have concern about the durability of the bike... after comparing and doing a lot of researching...I narrow down to dahon uno and speed p8... (dahon have life time warranty on frame when you register your bike online)... buy those foldie from a more reputable company that state the foldie max load...as we are well weighted person... try out the foldie in your local bike shop...compared... pick 1 that suite your current budget...or buy a good 1 and stick to it...you would not regret it... myak... |

QUOTE(2kia @ Sep 3 2013, 06:25 PM) looks like i needa keep an eye on the gclub website more often d Yepp ...well they seem like totally two different bikes one is bigger with more speed n vice-versa for the other if ur wife lugs it around often n only cycles on flat then i guess the kukuxumuxululuhuhububu would be more ideal n u're not gonna tour with the dahon mu uno right? shall we organize our own pg ride? 3 - 4 ppl first perhaps? just ride to somewhere n cari makan for couple for hours She dun ride that much and she dun like too complicated gearing system...hopefully she will when I buy her the bike... The uno is my city bike as I used it every now and than...and would want to tour with it if under foldie group.. If you guys want to have a some town ride..do let me know.. my factory is just in the heart of georgetown.. This post has been edited by myak9: Sep 3 2013, 07:40 PM |
