Finally, my employer has given a green light for corporate rate for Fitness First.

My passport fitness first membership is gonna cost RM130 instead of RM175, about damn time.

Commercial gyms are expensive. Supplements are no different too. Given future forecast of the economy, best save as much as possible especially since price of petroluem is gonna increase like 25% next year.

Hey I might be around her age... don't la call me 'Boy' out loud... sad.gif

Corporate rate usually mean either the company pays for it or the company get so many people to join that the extra 45 bucks is waived for per member.

Well, Deloitte Singapore has even a better deal but it's not with Fitness First. My friend is paying like SGD2 per month to use a commercial gym in Singapore. That is like RM5. I doubt any of us get that kinda of deal.

In Australia, gyms are usually provided by employer for free. Due to the fact most gyms there won't cost more than Au$80 per month. My university gym was like Au$30 per month and the weights room is like 4 times any weights room I see in any Fitness First centre in Malaysia just of yet.

Fuyoh... I must have been to FF too much

I am a member of The Curve's branch. Last Sat, I went to Uptown's branch. I was greeted by name by the reception guy. Sungguh terperanjat! I have never seen that guy.

So I asked him, how come he knows my name. He said he is from The Curve's branch

Anyway, me and wife joined the Ballroom dance for the fist time. Quite fun. We learnt Cha Cha and Rumba. Class very small. Only 6 person (including instructor)

FF in Uptown is good for beginners or those who wants a less congested place.

When there are less people, it is easier for the instructor to correct

Here you go:

Lotsa cardiovascular exercise + consistency + persistency + proper diet

You could also ask most of Personal trainer there, they are pretty friendly and could customize a work out routine for you.
