I just went to The Curve's FF, and here is the package

Pay per month:-
JF=RM99 (one time)
AF=RM99 (one time)
PP=RM149 (one time)
RM175 / month (fixed rate)
*minimum 1 year contract.
*on the 14th month onwards, to terminate need to provide 1 month notice

Pay per year:-
JF=RM0
AF=RM99 (one time)
PP=RM149 (one time)
RM175x12=RM2100 (there is a 8% discount, so after discount = RM1932)
Total = RM2180 / year

Promotion: RM175 = Passport for all branches

To freeze the account, have to inform them in between 1st to 14th. Pay minimum 20% of RM175

Mind to explain more about the free for life passport?
*
They said usual price RM175 is only for the subscribed branch (1 branch).

But since now promo (new launching of BT), so same price can go to all branches (12 branches)

How much ur dad sign up?
Is it with passport to all branches?

I don't know whether they bull about this or not...

That's bull. RM175 is passport. RM 159 is home package.

My dad signed up for passport@RM175.
*
Yalor... I have a feeling they are bullsh*tting

Later today I will go fine tune them a bit before I sign

The best part is, when I ask for the terms and condition that they briefly showed me (highlighted only 3 points). They said the Terms and Conditions is private confidential. Cannot give... i was like WTF...

Lol.. I never get to read the T&C properly too. They were rushing me to finish signing everything. I only know that I must continue to be a member for at least 1 year. If I didn't pay suddenly, they will deduct from my bank. Haha..
*
Later today, I will insist for the T&C before I pay. If they don't give. I will not sign. Up to them

I do not plan to let them activate auto debit from credit card. Nanti in future susah to terminate

Frankly speaking, FF price is not cheap compared to CC.

CC 3 year price is equivalent to FF 1 year+ a bit.
To me the only advantage of FF now is my wife's good friend is there. If not I will not sign with them one

Added on December 14, 2007, 2:09 pmThey were rushing me to sign on the spot too yesterday. They said the price they offer is special and have to sign on the spot

I shot at their face.. come on la, I'm in sales line too, this kind of gimmicks don't work on me. Moreover, no matter how good their offer is, it will not be cheaper than CC

So I told them, let me go back and discuss with my wife and I will get back to them. There is no hurry... haha. Anyway, it was quite a fast decision. Yesterday see them, Today go sign. So considered them lucky that my wife's friend is there tongue.gif

The consultants told me that I cannot signup without a maybank or credit card. So I gave them.
Hmm.. I didn't know that Celebrity Fitness is so cheap. I thought they cost more than FF. But since FF is near to my house, FF would be a better choice.
Go read their T&C and tell to me if there is any weird stuff. laugh.gif

One year free pass?

That is almost RM2,000.

Still waiting for my company to finish negotiating the so called 'Corporate' rate.

Need to save some money, RM175 is lotsa money to pay for gym.

Back in Melbourne, gym only cost Au$30-35 bucks max and that's less than RM100.

I was about to sign up with full price yesterday, but I went to google to search for some review before I finalize my decision

And here I stumbled across this thread:-
http://www.webportal.com.my/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=4209

So I called him, and he managed to find his friend who got another free pass

He and his friend won the free pass in their annual dinner. Their company gave away 3 tickets. And I bought the 2

For 2 person:
Total price I spent = RM2k
Total price I saved = RM2360 smile.gif - more than enough for me to pay for toll, parking for 1 year

Ok. Thanks. I will visit IOI (near my office)

No wonder LM's schedule so full la

From your post, you are overdoing it already.

Best way to increase stamina is a jog in the park. Remember where you start to become out of breath? From that point on, any extra minutes you put on will help increase your stamina. I forgot the term but your body have to be in a negative oxygen zone for at least 30 minutes to have any noticeable increase in stamina. Its all about pushing yourself but you shouldn't do it in the first week of exercise. Start slow and you will achieve a new fitness level. Too fast too furious and you will end up with extreme body fatigue
*
I can feel my body has not gone to it's max yet. I want to push harder

Back when I'm at my younger days I used to be ex-state swimmer. I swam 5 days a week. And when near competition time, 1 week = 8 sessions... Those were the days where I can push my limit to the max...

Now old liao... sad.gif

'Boy, keep pushing harder'
'Boy, keep up, Good job'

Hey I might be around her age... don't la call me 'Boy' out loud... sad.gif

Haha... it has been long since people call me boy

If you are there at The Curve, you wouldn't missed me

Body Jam - 2 guys (the other guy big size and no way a 'boy')
Body Combat - Only guy

I will be going FF The Curve very often for this coming weeks. I'm on long leave and got nothing else better to do during the working hours

Fuyoh... I must have been to FF too much

I am a member of The Curve's branch. Last Sat, I went to Uptown's branch. I was greeted by name by the reception guy. Sungguh terperanjat! I have never seen that guy.

So I asked him, how come he knows my name. He said he is from The Curve's branch

Anyway, me and wife joined the Ballroom dance for the fist time. Quite fun. We learnt Cha Cha and Rumba. Class very small. Only 6 person (including instructor)
