Hi, i am planning to get a AC66U but want to know if the setup for Unifi can be done manually

Need to know if i can setup the VLAN Tagging manually and also disable the IPTV STB Port because i need the LAN 4 for another device.

Currently, I have subscribed to streamyx 4mbps (which is very slow, as no choice since Unifi is not covered in my area yet and not sure when will they do so), and that I need a new Asus modem as the TM Riger DB-108 WL is quite old and has only 1 Ethernet port - insufficient for my family needs.

So may I ask which Asus modem is suitable and economy for my current need?

Yes just change the cap inside bcoz maybe it's already burst. I had that problem too with my rt-n16 wifi keeps on dropping n slowly degrading, opened it up and saw the cap already burst... went to the components store to buy the cap. You can change it yourself if u have the solder...

If traditional QoS, when it is enabled, the NAT Acceleration will be disabled. You can refer to below link which explain more about the NAT Acceleration.

When enabling Bandwidth Limiter, it won't effect NAT Acceleration.

For this model, you can do it manually or you can just choose UNIFI-Business and it will open the LAN port 4 for Internet.

The VLAN ID for Internet are the same.

I recently bought DSL-N12 C1 for my Streamyx 4Mbps connection.
I want to configure QOS.
In the upload and download/upload bandwidth, what amount should I put? The unit is Mb/s.

If you mean you unable to change the WiFi, do try fix a channel at Wireless->General->Control channel(1, 6, or 11) and try again.

Nope, is different. Bandwidth Limiter is limit the bandwidth of a device no matter what you do. If your device is set to get 5Mb only for download and upload, then you will only get 5Mb/s.

While Adaptive QoS is control the bandwidth based on high or low priority that you have set.

Adaptive QoS is same with Traditional QoS, is just that Adaptive QoS is applied to all device with prefixed port.

i'm currently using the RT-AC68U router. However, it is not broadcasting 802.11ac Wi-Fi only on 802.11N.

I'm using PCE-AC66 Dual Band PCI-E Adapter.

Is there a setting I need to do?
