Hi Asus,
I recently bought a N14UHP to replace my Thompson router on Maxis Broadband.
It is working great but i have added an external My Book 1 TB WD USB HDD, but the router cannot detect the drive.
I have tried using ExFat and NTFS to no avail. The top right icon for USB Drive does not light up.
Appreciate your help.

QUOTE(minde @ Feb 2 2016, 11:11 PM) hey, i'm currently using the RT-AC68U router. However, it is not broadcasting 802.11ac Wi-Fi only on 802.11N. I'm using PCE-AC66 Dual Band PCI-E Adapter. Is there a setting I need to do? Hi minde, Are you able to scan the 5GHz from the RT-AC68U with the PCE-AC66? 5GHz will be running at AC standard. Thank you

And can you also try updating the firmware to the latest? https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/5...363D00A168D2FFYThank you

Thank you thanks for the response. yes i can receive 5ghz.. when I check the connection status using command prompt : "netsh wlan show interfaces". it's showing as 802.11n. is this a limitation of windows 10 unable to show ac status?

Hi @ASUSmy,
Currently using RT-N16 and recently just upgraded my unifi to advance plan 30mbps. I run speedtest on wifi unfortunately download rate can reach at 20mbps only while on LAN test I can reach up to 30mbps. May I know why this would happen? Do I need to touch certain setting on wifi config? Thank you.

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Jan 19 2016, 03:55 PM) Hi ericlawyh, I am still waiting the reply from my RD, will get back to you ASAP. Thank you Hello ASUSmy, Is there any update from your RD pertaining to the horrible NAS performance on RT-AC1200HP? Any firmware update or configuration optimization can address this issue? If there is no any resolution, will Asus admit that its router's NAS capability simply can't perform?

Simple solution: Keep the minimal folder(s) and file(s) at root directory level. You can expand the folder structure at sub directory level.
