If this can be realized, I would request to map the function to [Mode] button on our steering wheel. brows.gif

i also got info about this from bro allen....
cause really dun like the windows will "pregnant" will roll up...
at first, i dun mind about that at all...however, after more and more time spent in my car, i starting to irritate by the "pregnant" power windows...some more the "gluk" x3 sound very loud during extreme hot weather, which occurs everyday to me...
btw, my Knight Rider LED gonna reborn in few hours...with not just red light, got red, white, blue, green, yellow....hahahahaha... rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif
*

If I remember correctly, all Proton from 198x Saga to current model have this "gluk gluk" sound right? laugh.gif
I also owned a Kia Spectra before, and that also have this "gluk gluk" sound actually.
Anyway, I never see it as problem, maybe the design or quality (clearance tolerance) wasn't good enough?

Knight Rider LED
havent configure the lights and speed yet...but very confusing to set it...need to play around more...
at last few seconds there, there is a pattern where it automatically changes lights color...

Wow! You DIY this LED yourself?

Hi ben3003, i if I were you, I would take out all these things before go to SC. icon_rolleyes.gif

My car PW does not have the bulging issue or any sound but the PW switch will terjungkit. That is until i send it for 1k service today@Section 13 and complain about the switch. They fixed the switch but now its bulging outwards pulak..

Updated the ECU and now not a hint of sluggishness.

Previously I read in the forum, the bulging problem was solve if remove the screw on the PW switch, but will cause the PW switch terjungkit if you pull it .. when the SC screw the PW switch back properly, the bulging issue will occur..

Added on November 23, 2012, 4:59 pmDOing my 1st service tomorrow at Damai Perdana SC, already 1000km today..
maybe next service go to those SC that can do ECU remap. .why they call it remap...normally for MCU/ECU firmware, we called it flashing..or firmware upgrade..

Bro, maybe u should try another SC.

For my case, I first wrote an email to iCare.
Few days later the PE SC manager called me up personally regarding my concerns/ requests & we even kept in touch via FB.
With or without this SMS, I have already made appointment with PE SC since 2 wks ago for 1K first service, new remap & some minor issues which is scheduled for early next week.

Thank you. point taken. Anyway, i hate to go to COSE. sad.gif

'et vous'

The French phrase 'et vous' means and [what about] you. In the word-by-word translation, the conjunction 'et' means 'and'. The personal pronoun 'vous' means 'you'.
and you if it is a question, translate it with And you ? or And how about you ? or and what about you ?

Je vais bien, et vous ?
I am fine, and how about you ?

do you feel happy if your car is sluggish TURBO car and roar like a lion during rpm rev up? just that some ppl do not know and some will think 'shit, why i bought a Proton'
because they do not know there is such a thing call ECU@TCU remap..

may I know where you get the list? Are you saying I have to read more in the forum to get the list for the 90 SC?

I don't consider malu if I cannot get the correct info from the proton-edar website, I even email to i-care for the list, but no response? SO, where is the after sales service quality? mad.gif

This forum have some forumers like mat79 giving some explanation on the current problem and solution and people sharing their experience with their Preve...
which is a good thing..  thumbup.gif

I actually can live with sluggish. Those proton basher always say that. When proton sluggish, they complain about it. Then after proton updated new ecu and tcu to fix sluggish, they dig out another issue to bash.

Added on November 23, 2012, 8:56 pmOne question, I saw this on prevoc fb http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=101..._count=1&ref=nf
I wonder if your preve got like this after you on aircon for awhile? Because mine does got water dripping at passenger side. I think its aircon water so didn't bother about it. But is it my radiator bocor or what?

Another question, what is pinging noise actually?

First step - Go to SETUP, turn on HU & your phone bluetooth. Select PAIR & then key in the pin code provided when prompted.
Once paired, in future, you will only need to turn on your phone bluetooth & car HU will automatic detect.
Second step - Press MEDIA button & your phone name should appear. Can either press play from HU or your phone.
I learnt this from trial & error as the car manual book made no sense when I read it regarding this rclxub.gif

Thanls dude. The book says press mode, i tried it one whiole day and it just wont work. By the way, i just did 150 to and from lcct. High speed brakng steering wobbles and very loud noise from the front. I suspect the brake disc is uneven. Anybody experiienced this before? Got warranty?

Bro mat79, understand that ecu/tcu update is improvement. How abt power window regulator? Can I said this is due to defect?
*
as been mentioned in previous post, depend on severity of the cases@defect, if it involve safety issue, of course any manufacturer will do a public recall, so, depend on severity. What issue is being raise. The real question i think supposed to be whether they response@take action.

Like other said when 'others' do rectification years after being launch as being responsible@better late than never. Well, that what they said, for me,it just normal practice.

Atleast they r trying to kikis tak per attitude. Well, its not perfect yet, but gettin better i think.
